The Sea Leviathan, oh boy! - but you lived to tell the tale :D You can still mine untill he goes completely under, the first water splashes are warnings that you have aboout 30 seconds. Just mark on the map, can always come back ;). But you definately want what you can make of the barnacles! Omg that was the fastest I've seen anyone take Bonemass down! That Frostner is a beauty! Now you're really set for the Mountains, can't wait to see where the journey takes us :) Oh and your boat... It stops when you jump off it, not when you let go of the rudder ;)

So that's what that thing was. Soon as I saw it move I was out of there lol. I wasn't going to risk getting killed by that thing.

Equip the wishbone to your hotbar and it will start "pinging" when you get near a silver vein. It goes faster the closer you get to the vein. Does the same for buried chests which can be dug up and looted. Those seem to be mostly in the meadows, so the loot isn't that great. Also when building you can create interior decorations like kitchens and furniture etc (anything you can imagine) with a bit of creative placement of the building components. It really enhances the interiors of your buildings. There are quite a few creators on KZbin with videos about it, worth a look to go to the next level with settlements.

protip: if you jump off of a boat while it is drifting, it will automatically stop instantly. Also if you have a portal somewhere, you can destroy your boat and get all the materials back so you cna take the mats through the portal instead of having to make the long journey twice

Really smart idea with the boat. I never thought about destroying it to get the stuff back then taking the portal. This is going to save a lot of time.

I upgraded them to rank 4 I think. For the weapon you need to get the flesh from the vendor in the black forest.
