Hey Mart , It came up a treat with the polish . The bonnet looked awesome in the video . The car handles the speed bumps well . I wouldn't be game to take my modern car over them as quick . You have to be elated the 100e is on the road. You've got a lot of "elbow grease" invested. You've really come a long way in a short time. The transmission sounds a lot like my stock 30 Model A coupe. It's interesting to see a lot of the mechanical designs that come from the old Ford's lineage. I hope you all had a great Christmas and your pups had a dog biscuit under the tree.

Mart my old Austin A35 use to shake in low and reverse { especially on a hill ).it sounds like you have the same problem if engine and gearbox mounts are good , i fixed that problem by making a good sturdy bracket from engine to inner guard i used a rubber mount between bracket and guard so the engine still had some movement worked like the cats meow , cheers best for 24

Hello Drifter. I don't have any proper lathe jobs planned for the time being. I don't have a taper attachment for my lathe. I have turned tapers by setting the angle on the compound slide. I don't tend to turn between centres, so setting the tailstock over is one method I have not used. There are toms of machining channels out there, I have seen Keith Rucker using the taper turning attachment, and maybe abom79. Not 100% sure on that but a search might turn something up (pun alert!).
