Topher, thank you so much for the early greetings. My birthday is Aug 30 but I'm so happy to see you react to Be My Favorite. Bodkawee(Kawi) is really such an interesting and very complicated character unlike other series characters that's so perfect that there's no room for character depth or development and that's why I love Kawi so much because he's so different. Somehow he's relatable because some of our mistakes/disconnection in life is our own fault and Kawi is representation of that, specially for some introverted people, which perfect for the time travel plot. This series has great writing that's very unique and I love to see you getting your nerves with Kawi because we do too. Thank you so much Topher.

I have the same opinion about Kawi. He is so different from any other BL main lead we had so far. He's cute and funny, but also awkward, antisocial, shuts himself off, etc. And he's so relatable! When he said "I realized that my dream self and my awake self are two different persons", I felt that so much! I think all of us (especially people over 30) felt like this at some point. I really love Kawi! And I enjoyed seeing Krist as Kawi. He was amazing! I can't imagine someone else playing this role. PS: Early happy birthday! ^^

Yay, I'm so glad you're watching this one! I am so excited to get your thoughts on it! This easily became one of my favorite shows of all time, and I feel like it'll give you a lot to talk about. Kawi is an acquired taste, which I relate to a lot. Part of the beauty of this show is flawed characters who need to grow and learn from their mistakes. It is a journey for everyone and so worth it! It’s either that you like Kawi or hate him, I think it depends on the person. Because I relate to him, I can empathize with his thoughts and feelings. I also consider myself as an introvert with not many friends in university so I get him. Also, Kawi probably shouldn’t have stolen Pisaeng’s money, he’s chaotic and more since he thinks this is all in his dreams. So he thinks he can do whatever he wants cause he will have no consequences. Like I would like to be a certain way or act a certain way but I’m unable to do. I think it’s also important to know Kawi is human, so he’s not perfect. He’s trying, and especially he overthinks I believe and thinks if he would of “said this” or “did this”, a different outcome could of happen. I think this series also does a good job showing that, it depends on the decisions and choices one makes that determines one’s faith ❤️ but yes give Kawi some time, I would say don’t be too hard on him and give him time to adjust. Which happens a lot in this series 🙈

Krist himself said he couldn't understand or connect with Kawi until roundabout ep. 8 or so. His comedy scenes are truly hilarious 😂😆

I loved Kawi from jump. I understood him. I loved the journey of his character development. He felt like a real person with relatable flaws.

My favorite of the year so far. Kawi has a nasty penchant for self-destruction. He'll grow up and he'll win you over by the end. There are multiple timelines, which can be confusing but stick with it. Pisaeng is the best foil for Kawi. Kawi will learn that Pisseng keeps him steady and grounded, and Kawi alleviates Pisaeng's loneliness, but it's cute when Pisaeng realizes Kawi is way different than he thought.

I hope that everyone lets Topher have his own journey with each character especially Kawi. What was great about this show was the amount of emotions that you feel for Kawi and a lot of those emotions wasn't good. Be respectful No Spoilers and No Defending Kawi on Anything. We all got to watch him grow as a character allow him the same chance. P.S. Topher is soooo right future Kawi was doing to much and putting to much on a few encounters with a person he clearly didn't even know just liked the dream girl that he imagined her to be.

I love this series so much. My fav BL of the year so far. The theme song you enjoyed throughout the episode is Redo and is sung by Krist, the actor who plays Kawi 😊

I didn't see him blaming all the woes of his life on that one situation with Pearmai. He talked about his life being crappy/lonely before he met her. I saw it as him saying it was just one more thing in his life that didn't work out. I took it as him blaming his personality/choices for how things turned out, which is why in his 'dream state' he had the opposite personality. eg. in his reality he was too timid to confront the abusive guy, but didn't hesitate in his 'dream'. Also in his reality he never confronted Pisaegn in regards to Pearmai, yet in his dream he did it right away. I think we are meant to dislike his personality in his 'dream state.' In that regard I think they did a great job.

The plot involves time travel to the past. So this show is obviously about 2nd chances or acceptance. And for this plot to work, the character needs to be flawed or imperfect at the start to undergo character development. The character 'Kawi' exists in real life. And this show is portraying him so well. Please don't invalidate their existence.

I love the chemestry between Krist and Gawin in this series, but overall its just really good acting. It has one of my favorite BL theme songs and it's sung by Krist. I can (sometimes) relate to Kawi being an introvert myself and the "you are better/stronger than you might think". Interested to see, what you think. Btw the series he is subbing is F4 Thailand with Win and Prim and Bright from Enigma.

The interesting thing about Kawi as our protagonist is that he is a very unreliable narrator. We can see that with how dramatic he is about little things and him saying he has no friends when in the first scene he got invited to dinner by those two classmates of his.

I think kawi was stuck on the relationship bcuz he memtioned that it was his first love which acc to him remained unrequited, as everyone already mentioned kawi is an introvert, he overthinks everything which is why he never tried to get out of his comfort zone and try new things... he's nvr had friends so he nvr learned to socialize either, he's also very insecure bcuz of being poor and 'unattractive'... all these things led to him having a lonely, sad life. Lots of ppl get pissed at kawi's character bcuz he makes many bad decisions but i love his character because of that, because that's realistic for someone like him. It is very refreshing to see flawed main characters honestly and pisaeng's green flag character is perfect to balance it out. I also wanna say that just telling someone to fix their life is easier said than done, in this case, kawi thinks he CAN'T fix his life because whtvr he did, it won't change anything, he seems hopeless and while it may seem easy to just fix his life, to him it is the toughest thing... watching him slowly learn and fix things is very beautiful to see

I love dad. Krist acting made me watching this series till the end, and made this series one of my favorite. and soundtracks in this series are amazing and they use music so well in scenes not like many other series.

Okay, I just binge watched this whole show. Let me tell you, it was a journey. Kawi changed a lot later on, so I swear that you'll probably love the shift in his personality. A lot of apologizing, making up for mistakes and such happens on a lot of ends. Plus each character has an interesting story, has something that makes them stand out. These characters are flawed, but that makes them even better. ❤

It's not that they don't want to take the job because it's too expensive or too complicated but mostly because it's an older product that they have to go to a through a lot of trouble to find replacement parts for and it's just not worth it for them to spend the time and effort.

Yeah, it took some time for me to warm up to Kawi. He's definitely a character with several quirks and flaws, but I think they play well into the story and he does gradually mature.
