The build of my dream MTB compound continues to make insane progress and in this episode we have the first full session on the mulch jump throwing huge tricks like backflips before talking plans for the next part of the build!
It has always been a dream of mine to create my own MTB trail spot and I can finally say that it's going ahed! I plan to create a MTB facility full of dirt jump trials, Slopestyle jumps, EMTB trails, training features, wooden kickers, mulch jumps that will hopefully create the dream compound training facility.
Hit the subscribe button and follow the progress as this place develops into the ultimate MTB playground.
Welcome to my KZbin channel giving you an insight into my life as a Professional mountain bike rider. I upload videos 3 times per week covering all disciplines of riding and topics including Full speed downhill, Huge free ride and dirt jump tricks, XC rides, EMTB adventure riding, trail build series and general bike vlog's, challenges How to video's and MTB games.

it would be nice to have a drone view of the whole Tompound with highlighted boundaries, ups and downs, to better plan the features and optimize them according to the terrain. Good job so far!

Tom. The Ninja were believed to be able to fly across tops of trees using majik powers. The urban spots you frequent, rad as they remain, the subway or the helter skelter stair sets of doom what would have to happen to incorporate those there in the Tompound. Sure! you can build it chippy freestyles. Tom, my imagination? I tell you:) Good effort! Craig. Cornwall.

Its really nice to have places where you can keep things going and being able to practice regularly. Living in Sweden with winter time really messes with you every season. Not having an indoor alternative really sucks to. The first few weeks of every spring makes you feel like a beginner in many ways. I have a MTB Hopper on its way so i can atleast keep things on a decent level during summer.

I reckon get creative with some smaller features at the start of the track to gain speed for some monsters, but definitely do the bush gap idea with a huge boosty freeride wooden lip.

Awesome 😎 Would like to see a combo of progression lines for the both of you... So wether that is building two separate lines side by side or two progressive jump sets side by side.... whichever, but would be great to see K.B.'s space there too.... cheers to you 🤟🎶

Surely a trails line with cool features, hips, dirt quarterpipes etc, maybe something that loops back round that you could ride continuously like Woburn?!

Trials features would be cool to see. Boulders and logs and stuff, maybe between jumps, so you have to jump over them. Then take the electric trials bike out there too for some stuff.

So what would the bare minimum tower and jump height be to try back flips and 360's for the first time? I have about that much room in my back yard. You need to add a proper push/moto trials area into the remaining space, because like it or not, you have a bit of that in you.
@wertawonka
@wertawonka Жыл бұрын
I think you should carry on from where your mulch jump is but build another roll in attached on the side of the landing so Kara can start from there and just work your way down one jump at a time. I'm thinking just zig zag it (row of jumps, berm at the end and repeat). Once you have the main line add north shore and all of that stuff linking between the rows.
@wertawonka
@wertawonka Жыл бұрын
And you can also shape the sides of the jumps so you could have other lines that go across the main line. So making a network of endless lines and fun 😁

Mulch jump looks sick. I'm quite partial to north shore, if you want to make it ebike you could do an uphill north shore. Also would love to see some progressive jumps, ones where you start tiny and by the end its absolutely huge gaps.

First of all, i would spend more time getting the first jump better. Why did you put the jump there? Thats way to far away from the rollin.... I mean.. WTF? You have to pedal from the rollin to make it work.

Because I have to make it work for all bikes and with the roll in height I have if the jump is closer then you can’t pump as hard to get the speed with the full sus bikes so you need the pedal space! Just looks abit far away on the small bike!🤟
