What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for KZbin, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! This game should have a management aspect to it when it comes to employees. for example, we should be able to pay the employees by the hour and make them clock out early when you want to renovate the store

Nice and down to earth commentary on your job history there, was good to hear a bit more about your background. Would be good to know how you got in to the whole computer gaming thing, and then on to youtube etc. - challenges, good/bad points etc.

I understand how you feel about the food thing. I'm on a diet as well and it really is hard. One thing that helps is to say "Eating better" 😊 You can do it. Also therapy helps. 😌

That Was how my previous company did it.. we had a few locations islandwide, so the way they want to make you quit, they will transfer you to the branch literally across the other end of the island and say deal with it, don't like it, quit😂

*Kage: there’s a couple of categories that States can utilize for hire/fire. An “At Will” State allows both employers and employees to fire/quit whenever they choose. Unemployment pays ONLY IF you can prove you were fired for no real reason AND you were being prevented from doing your job due to hostile work environment/harassment/extenuating circumstances caused by employers/work environment. The other that I know of is “Right To Work”. If you quit it’s very difficult to get unemployment benefits. However, if you’re fired without cause, you will receive benefits as long as you can prove you were fired through no fault of your own. There are obviously loopholes to every rule.*

Kage, if you want to reduce your number of "product too expensive" complaints to only 1 every once in a while then don't go any higher than 25 cents over market price. The only mod I use is the one that auto updates prices for me and I have it set to round up the market price to the next quarter and I'll get maybe 1 complaint every few weeks in game

You can collect unemployment if you quit, at least in Washington state. Unless the employer claims you left due to bad things that you as the employee were doing. Here, the employer can ask to not be charged benefits if the employee quits due to no fault of the employer; this helps to not increase the unemployment rate for the next year. But the employee still gets their employment.

The game is looking great. Personally, I'd like to see a mod where you could have coupons to give special offers regarding merchandise that isn't selling enough.

Sometimes, the treatment from employers has less to do with paying more for unemployment if you get fired - although there is potentially an issue with severance benefits/packages, depending - and more to do with hiring/firing laws in the local jurisdiction. In some jurisdictions - I'm talking on a global scale here, so not necessarily only in the US - you basically can't fire someone without cause. And by cause, I mean 'screwed the pooch' level cause, not just 'consistently didn't meet performance targets' cause. Government jobs are especially cushy - in China, for instance, working in the civil service is colloquially called the iron rice bowl, denoting how safe and stable (if perhaps not so well remunerated, again, depending) the job is. In Japan, they don't usually outright fire senior execs either; they just remove all their responsibilities and put them in a small office space with no windows - this has to do with saving face, I guess. Or so I've been told.

Kage, you should really look into Intermittent fasting, it has a whole list of benefits medically speaking and the weight melts off. No crazy diet, no special food subscription etc. just keep healthy diet and fast, it works wonders man! Best of luck!

I have worked hard at every job I have had but do not suffer arsehole bosses. I would have said to postmaster, sure I made a small mistake that I can easily rectify but you're an arsehole and that's for life. I would have apologised to the customer for the mistake and the language you are about to use, then told the postmaster to get well and truly f@#ked. I tell my kids, always, always, have faith in yourself. If you make a mistake, own it, but do not take shit from anyone. Most Australians think this way.
