Just right after finished filming Mammamia this summer, she played Kim in Miss Saigon, then after that she's now currently play Jasmine in Aladdin UK Tour until next year, and upcoming Rosie the musical next year. Her career already soar even before Mammamia aired on tv. She always delivered every week yet they sent her home. I'm done watching this show, good luck for the rest of the girls.

Breaks my heart seeing any of these wonderful contestants go, sad to see Desmonda go, she has great talent in singing. Marcellus put in his very best and playing an iconic character would be tough. I do hope for both Desmonda and Marcellus that they do reach for the stars, and keep trying and get into the musicals, acting, singing. After all, the world is wide, life is short, I want to make some memories (Young Donna quoted in Mamma Mia Here We Go Again).

Personally, I think this was the wrong choice, Desmonda is pure perfection. So so sad to see her go! Esme has the look but I think Desmonda’s acting is actually stronger when singing. I would’ve sent Esme home tonight.

​@@melissareidddJasmine is better than Sophie as it's a leading role, while in Mamma Mia the leading lady is Donna. I think her voice is amazing, and it's great that she can do Jasmine. Yes it's sad that she isn't Sophie, but the judges were searching for something else, they thought her acting wasn't natural. I think she gained a lot of experience from this and that she worked on her weak points (acting and dancing), and that's why she was chosen for Jasmine in Aladdin!

Desmonda is a stunning vocalist and her duet with Tobias during Chemistry Week is still my favourite item from the show. I am so delighted to see below that she will be playing both Kim in Miss Saigon and Jasmine and what perfect roles they are for her. Best wishes to her. Meanwhile sorry Marcellus - you were fun and entertaining and I hope you can also pick up some great roles. I do wonder at choices the producers/musical directors make with regards to the songs here. Some very odd choices tonight for me! Some songs make it far easier to connect to your partner than others.

So I've watched the episode. The reason Desmonda is going home is because they don't see Sophie in her and thag her acting was a bit weak. She also said last week that dance was not her forte, and they said they're looking for a triple threat. I'm sad she went home because she has an angelic voice but it's definitely for the better, as she's playing Jasmine in Aladdin, which is a leading role, contrary to Sophie. They also said that Esme's vocals weren't as good as they wanted, but they thought her acting was amazing. Also, they didn't knew but Esme was not feeling well all the day, she was shaking and felt dizzy. She was constantly drinking and seating, and she wasn't sure she could go on the stage. So, considering this, I'm happy that Esme's still here because if she can deliver next week, she definitely has a chance.

About the other comments they said while deliberating: Mazz said that Stephanie was not Mamma Mia for her. She said that she was amazing but Mamma Mia is pop and she felt like her performance was to thought. Amber said it's possible that the training goes in the way, because she's trained as a musical theatre performer so singing pop on stage is very different. They said that Stevie was fiery, and Mazz said good things about her. About the boys, they didn't said much about Tobias, except that his pairing with Esme showed a lack of connection. They really love Owen, they think he is Mamma Mia and he could be Sky. About Craig they aren't sure if he can be a Sky but they liked him. They definitely show more about the girls as Sophie is more important than Sky in the musical.

They have favorites of course but they're also judging on everything else. Desmonda is amazing vocally but what she showed in the workshop didn't felt natural for me, and that's definitely something she needed to work on. But now she's playing Jasmine on Aladdin so it's for the best. About Marcellus they told him every week that his vocals were shaky, and he stayed until here, so I'm kinda impressed by that. But it was definitely time for him to go.

Desmonda and Marcellus HMMMM. Desmonda is a brilliant singer and Marcellus has such charisma but others have already been eliminated who would have fitted the Sophie and Sky roles much better. Personally I think Owen would be perfect as Sky and as for Sophie, for me its Stevie or Esme. I think the songs chosen for them all to perform tonight weren't really the best to showcase anyone talents. Reducing 'Who Wants To Live Forever' to a couple of minutes didnt give the track chance to materialise and as for 'The Best', who came up with that awful edit!
