OK…between you & Patrick you are genius!!!! Definitely gonna have to bring hubby in on this video to do a watch, but sooooo giving up on the corder and “borrowing” Phil’s drill (think he’ll notice???) 😂. Thanks for always providing the community great content & teaching. You really are a good instructor, Keri 😊. Loved seeing a new view of the studio. It’s a lovely creative space. (Love those glasses on you 🤓)

Hank you, super easy to do!! Question? What are the clear acrylic boxes behind you on the bookshelf? Do they hold your fat quarters? I need to resort my fabrics and think this could work for me as well.

Hi, i’ve been sewing for 65yrs. Ibstarted on a black head singer treddle that i ended up inherited. My favorite machine is still my Elnab1970sbsu-er. I never went in for repair and I just replaced the light bulb four years ago. I also had a viking riccar, elna lotus. Recently i got into janome, brother, bernina and most recently,a juki. My Bernina went to the shop 2x with 1 hr of sewing. What a super disappointment/ bernina is junk and I never recommend it. The feet aren’t universal friendly and way over priced and on top of that the manula is cromby. I jesitantly purchased a SE brother, about $300 range. I gifted one to a student. That machine is big bang for the buck. A surprise to me who, back in the day, didn’t consider brother a quality co. Wrong. It’s worh it, easy to use and great manual. I started teaching sewing and gifted three janome machines to young gurls. I bought 2222 because the bobbin mechansim has proven true for about a decade. Four years of student use and they’ve been problem free I have two top end machines with lazer guide, super jumbo hoop. What i haven’t mastered is designing my own embroidery patterns nor transfereing designs off the internet. Those are still not high priority. When taking a chance with universal feet sometimes the needle position needs a minor adjustment. I just bought a gracie table hoop because I want to try it with my domestic machine. So, read about the machine you;re interested in purchasing. Try it out, if a shop is near you. Make your best educated guess. There are some terrific sewing mchine shops that provide outstanding on line assistance. Finally, I wasn’t surprised this lady has had repair shop trips needed for her Bernina. A friend bought one about the time I was having issues and she just traded her bernina in and lost some money. When I was dismayed with my bernina a came across some who was brutally honest about her disappointment with the company, this lady indicates over the past year things haven’t improved. Sewing should bring you happiness and be relaxing……..
