I am SO glad you liked it! Yes it IS fun! Contact me if you have any questions... but the key, I think... is the red tape... it's just thicker and pliable and makes the connection better.
@JourneyTime Жыл бұрын
Let us know how your card goes too! I think the RED tape is the key to keeping the connection firm!

@@JourneyTime The card turned out FANTASTIC thank you so much for the tutorial...I agree the red tape is a must! Looking for some Christmas cards now that light up...do you have any tutorials on those? Thanks

Kathy Haynes… have you ever done a card with more than one light? Like a birthday candle card with a couple of candles? Or a July 4th card with stars which light up? I’m so excited about what you did… my mind is going crazy with ideas!😂😂😂😂😂

I know!! I did do a multiple light with plastic diodes years ago using Stampin' UP! Christmas lights... but like my Campology light up card, it was difficult using the small diodes... but now that I am using the LED lights and RED TAPE I think it will work much better! Yes.. I have a million ideas too!!! I think I might start a playlist with just 'light up' cards! So check back soon!!

Great card! I love it! It would have also been fun to have the firefly light up, too!

Thank you! I agree... I am going to try multiple lights soon!

Saw the other video as well! Amazing! Do you think you could light up both the lantern and the lightning bug? TFS

I am going to try to do MULTIPLE lights very soon! June has been a BUSY month but I have some great ideas! Maybe I'll start with more lights on the Fireflies...lol!

Did you try multiple lights? I am trying a second light, the yellow light is bright but the green one for the firefly is very dim and goes out. Any suggestions? One battery should be enough, right?
@JourneyTime Жыл бұрын
I have in the past but not on a video. It should work. Are you using the red tape and making sure the connection is good? Have you pressed on the wires and then tried pushing on the battery connection? And lastly... have you tried another green light to see if the light is just bad? One battery should definitely be enough.

@@JourneyTime thank you for responding. I did try all of the above. I ended up creating a route for each light instead of trying to have them on the same route of copper tape. It works, but not as well as I would like. The green light flickers and both lights don't always light up together. After 6 circuit boards I decided this was working well enough LOL I have made two other cards with just the lantern light and it works great. Love this card!

I am so glad you like the card! I need to go try myself using this type of light... I've done it in the past with small plastic diodes without the wires... and it worked but keeping them connected was the issue. I'll let you know if I find an answer!

@@JourneyTime thank you! I would appreciate that. I want to do a Christmas one with multiple lights but I don't want the card full of batteries LOL
