I didn't play when whisper was meta and to be completely honest I dont want it to be meta yet. We just came out of the linear fusion rifle meta I do not want single target high damage heavy weapons. But I never understood why people wanted it to be meta again until recently when I was ranting about how I want double slugs + anarchy to be meta again, and thats when I realized people only want it to be meta because of nostalgia. I mean I want anarchy to be meta again just because its so good at everything from add clear, utility, and boss damage but mostly because nostalgia.
