I just ordered one! Really looking forward to it! I've been mostly a fixed wing flyer and the only rotor wing types I've messed with have been quads and those itty bitty toy sized helis. This looks like a great heli to get some better rotor wing experience with. Thanks for the video, sir!

counter clockwise rotating main rotor blades, and the tail rotor on the left side. very scale ! RC ERA helicopters use E129 / C186 protocol if you have OpenTX transmitter. however, I don't think you can turn off gyros.

Absolutely begginer friendly. You can really learn your orientation and then crank it up to high speed for some fun!

@@juanluciano7828 hey friend mine has never done that, I’ve flown her about 100 times now. I got mine off Amazon and I’ve never had that happen. I usually never hit the auto take off button though, just to be safe

@@juanluciano7828 so I know the rc sailors had one that shot up like a rocket on auto take off, I’ve never had that happen to me. I also never hit the auto takeoff button the first time I put a battery in. I always double check my blades and control surfaces and I’ve flown this thing about 100 times now, even crashed a couple. No issues, she flys perfect!

It can be overridden. You can take off like most collective pitch helis, the auto takeoff just increases stability on rotation/prevents any unnecessary yaw

Yeah, I got mine off Amazon and not helidirect or banggood, so I guess I'm lucky. But I always do a preflight in my house so I'm sure I would have found out that way 😅😅 over 20 flights in with 3 crashes 2 of those were in the snow, she's a tough bird

It needs work! They should work on the rotor airfoils in order tk not have such high rpm and either that sound that's like of a dozzen mosquitos I a summer night!

I personally don't mind it.. most rc helis with plastic tail rotors are gonna sound like angry mosquitos lol I've flown this thing over 30 times now, put cameras on it flown it during snow storms etc. She's pretty tough.

The rear doors on the body? You’d see the direct drive motor lol . Would probably give the unit more airflow
