I _think_ he mentioned it in an interview, where he talked about loving the character from childhood and how he loved dressing up as Gambit, even back then. I _vaguely_ remember him saying something to the extent that he knew the accent from his father, but _do not_ take my word for it. 😆

I loved every second of the Gambit cameo, so great to see at least one decent version of the character after all these years. Personally I think Channing did a good job with what he had in terms of lines and the setting, who knows if he could have carried a full movie, but it's sad we'll never get to find out.

I think at this point they're going to try their damndest to make that Channing Tatum Gambit movie. Ryan already posted a "deleted scene" on socials teasing it and the reception for Channing specifically has been so gigantic since this movie's release that they probably see dollar signs in it.

The part where Deadpool was sorry for Elektra about Daredevil has double meaning. Jennifer Garner who plays Elektra was married to the Dardevil actor she starred with - Ben Affleck, but he left her for Jennifer Lopez. Also Lady Deadpool was Blake Lively, Headpool was Nathan Fillion and Cowboy Deadpool was Matthew McConaughey

If Bridget ever watches Daredevil, the directors cut is a far better movie. I won't really defend the theatrical, but I kinda love the directors cut. Still has its issues, but I have a lot of fun with it. Electra wasn't a terrible movie (especially when you realize this is in the era of the Fantastic Four films), it's unrated version adds a little too. I like it, but it definitely isn't one I've rewatched a lot. This with the caveat that I love the vibe of 2000s movies, their cheese is part of the charm to me.

I saw this movie right away cus I KNEW no one would keep the effing spoilers in their pants!!!! Heck I even got spoiled that Logan would have his iconic cowl in the film almost a month before it came out thanks to one Facebook group. So while many got the suprise I absolutely e didn’t, but damn half these reactions that waited got a lot of the cameos spoiled and that actually does kinda mess up the reaction slightly ( especially if we were waiting for that moment) no blame on the reactors though! Blame the idiots that can’t keep spoilers to themselves, I was t even looking up clips and I ran into the same memes, The Chris evans one threw me off so hard! My friend didn’t recognize him at first and was like who’s that ( after the face reveal mind you) and i looked at him and said dude… it’s Chris evans! It’s cap! You don’t recognize him? And then I fucking hear “FLAME ON!!!!” And I was like wait wtf 😱😱😱😱 I should have saw that coming dammit 🤣🤣🤣
