I prefer this so much more than the typical UFC style of churning out the same formulaic videos about fighters. The minimal editing and simplicity of it all was done excellently as it made sure the focus was clearly on the fighter with nothing else to distract the viewer from the subject or detract from the core points that were being discussed. Most of all the openness and frankness of Mokaev during the interview gave the sense that he was talking directly to the viewer personally and not with a journalist on camera.

In time it will become more apparent. If you really think about it, he’s only beaten three guys in his three year reign as champ. Holloway 3x (with the one “controversial” win), Ortega and Zombie. Prior to becoming champion, he beat Aldo and Mendes, but other than that his only notable names are Darren Elkins and Jamie Mullarkey. Once he has collected more names and showcased even more of what he can do, people will recognize him as one of the p4p best ever.

Not ever seen but rn for sure. He’s better than overrated Usman and should be the P4P #1. UFC doesn’t wanna promote him because he’s not an African or American. The rest of the world has to do 2x as much to get half the credit in the UFC.

@@boonstuff I just don't think Featherweight has anyone else to offer after he beat Max and nothing he does from now on would be more impressive than 3x Max Holloway wins. - Yair is looking like he'll be next in line at some point and he was thoroughly beaten on the ground against Max (Volk is more than good enough of a wrestler to follow this path to victory). - Josh Emmett won a controversial decision against Calvin Kattar who fought behind nothing but a jab and avoid getting caught with a big shot. - Arnold Allen is an interesting prospect but he fights so infrequently that I'm not even sure he'll catch Volk as the champ (either retired or on his way down due to age). - Bryce Mitchell is probably the most interesting challenge for Volkanovski as the Featherweight division doesn't have too many people who has such a grappling heavy approach (and have the ability to actually take someone down...looking at you Ortega) All this on top of the fact that the guy is turning 34 this year and is in all likelihood going to slow down in the coming years. I'm also of the belief that Max is still an elite featherweight and can just as easily bat away some of these prospects if the UFC allows him to (they won't)

Asalamu alaykum to fellow Muslims and all others who would welcome the blessings of Allah! Mohammed says in this video that he has been told that the MMA is forbidden according to Islam. DONT GIVE UP YOUR PROFESSION MOHAMMED! MMA as a sport is not forbidden…….but what is forbidden in Islam is to intend to harm a person with violence and aggression. (To defend one’s self is not forbidden btw). The MMA is a controlled form of combat with skill and integrity and rules that prevent unnecessary injury. An injury may be sustained as a result of the combat….but that is not intentional. Win your next MMA battle Mohammed and enjoy your sport as you excel!
@rajaanada56342 жыл бұрын
What makes you think that Islam forbids aggressive violence? Even Islam's own modern, Western scholars (i.e. Assim Al-Hakeem, Shaykh Ibn Farooq, etc.) admit to and agree with the historical Islamic prescription of *offensive* Jihad. This is how Islam spread in the first place: offensive conquests. Consider the Quran and hadith: Quran 9:123: "O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)." Quran 48:29: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves." Quran 9:29 "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Sahih Muslim 523b: "The Messenger of Allah said: I have been helped by terror (in the heart of the enemy)." Sunan an-Nasa'i 4059: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'" This is not consistent with your description of Islamic ethics.

21:08 Islam is not peaceful, and neither is fighting non-Muslims (kuffar) forbidden. Observe: Quran 9:123: "O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)." Quran 48:29: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves." Quran 9:29 "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Sunan an-Nasa'i 4059: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'" Sahih Muslim 523b: "The Messenger of Allah said: I have been helped by terror (in the heart of the enemy)." Islam is violent at its very core. It only claims peace when it's a minority.

May be you didn’t read whole quran and didn’t understand behind the scene of these verses.. Most of the verses are based on war scenario Krishna asked to kill your relative, so do you support killing of your kinship? It was said in respect of war

@@atronadhashi4550 Thanks for your response. Let's look at tafsir Ibn Kathir on merely Quran 9:123: "Allah commands the believers to fight the disbelievers, the closest in area to the Islamic state, then the farthest. This is why the Messenger of Allah started fighting the idolators in the Arabian Peninsula. When he finished with them and Allah gave him control over Makkah, Al-Madinah, At-Ta'if, Yemen, Yamamah, Hajr, Khaybar, Hadramawt and other Arab provinces, and the various Arab tribes entered Islam in large crowds, he then started fighting the People of the Scriptures. . . . They did this in reverence to Allah's statement. . . .The complete believer is he who is kind to his believing brother, and harsh with his disbelieving enemy. . . .We ask Allah to help the Muslims gain control over the forelocks of His disbeliever enemies and to raise high the word of Muslims over all lands." I'm not Hindu. Jesus is Lord; Christ is risen.

@@anotheropinionplease I'm more qualified than any modern scholar man. I've absorbed the seerah . Modern scholars can tell you nothing more than opinions they call rulings & have no real semblance of islam. None of the ummah prays correctly or practices correctly in sooo many ways its baffling. No way any modern scholars knows the complete seerah... you've never made qunoot in salah despite the fact it was done in All salah by Prophet Muhammadﷺ. Nobody does prophetic diet of dates and water for 2 months .. so many daily sunnah we dont even know exist.. so many lazy fat men we call scholars because they know arabic and got a piece of paper to prove it.
