God does not require us to perform rituals of any kind, but He does require us to be faithful, and obedient to Him, and to His Word. Yep, everyone wants to go to heaven, but everyone doesn't want to do the one thing that God has asked of us, in order to go to heaven, and He hasn't asked anyone to do something that we cannot do, but many rather do their life their own way, then hope when they die they will go to heaven, but it just doesn't work that way. It's a simple thing, that even a child can understand, and grown ups try to make it something hard to do. But, for the most part, people doesn't want to give up their sinful lifestyle to do what they must do, to be saved so they live on the lie they are going to go to heaven anyway, but that will be a very sad day for them, just because of their rebellious lifestyle towards the Lord!

“It’s hard to say goodbye” is my most fav piano piece ever. This song is sorrowful yet healing. It somehow soothes me every time I hear or play this. For a moment that I feel like I can take a break from my busy on-going life, it is meaningful to me. This remaster version did added life to the original one. Thank you for your kind words. It’s so amazing to hear when others share their moments specially paired with this piece. I didn’t want to take anything away from the first, so I left the first 2.5 minutes exactly the same but more polished. (I wasn’t following a metronome on the original but this one is on beat + a new small part at 2:30 and different bass movement for the rest. 🙂

My sister was 11 years older than me. We did everything together. We were each others best friend. I close my eyes & I envision us. Much laughter,dancing in the rain ,tears, staying up all night talking. About everything & joking around. Writing our own silly songs. When I watch Michael play, I see in his fingers a softness, playfulness. A love of life and truth. Just like my Ethel Mae. She was only 36 when she left me. This is such a beautiful and powerful piano piece, but it can be hard to listen to while grieving a loss. My mom passed away last year and it still feels like the day after it happened, I've lost many people in my life (in fact 13 people died in 2011-2012 that I was close to, friends, family, etc) but this has been the hardest to deal with. This is an absolutely gorgeous composition, I love how I can tell that you put so much work into creating this.

The piece really touched me emotionally and I managed to learn it in just a few hours back then. I guess it’ll always remind me of my hardest time yet. I don’t know if there are even tougher times ahead and I honestly don’t want to know. And that’s the special thing about life: you never know what’s going to happen tomorrow. It was hard for me to hold on to it until now, but it paid off. Between the bad times, unforgettable memories emerge that put everything else in the background. And if you ask me, I’d do it all the same again.
