Dear brother Bill, for some reason, as I heard you speaking about time along side one who was nearing the door of eternity, I was thinking of a day when my son's stepfather was in the hospital. He wanted me to go with him to see Rod. For legal reasons, he was not allowed to go by himself. We arrived at his room in ICU and many other members of the family were there. My ex-wife was very angry because the hospital had promised to have a chaplain come to pray. She turned to me and asked, "Will you pray? Not knowing what or how to pray, I simply asked,, Lord, please release Rodney from any pain, and let him find rest and peace in the arms of Jesus. Within a few minutes, he was gone. I never thought that my prayer was instrumental in that moment but it may have been without my knowing. Rod was not involved in the breakup of our marriage and we did become friends. He and my former wife were later involved in church ministry so I can only imagine that he had a relationship with Jesus. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to be a witness to him in the years prior to that moment. I know what the Apostle meant when he said he wanted to be all things to all men. That may have been my opportunity.

I was in the park by the library in Redding, and Bethel was there just hanging out with people. As one of them tossed a football, I went to catch it, and ran straight into the flagpole head first. My eye and forehead were swollen and I couldn't see out of my right eye. I went to Bethel the next morning for church, and they prayed for head injuries. My eye went from a plum to totally drained of blood and open within seconds. I will never forget that miracle, thanks God bless you all.

I had bone spur in my right heel I literally saw a huge Ángel s hand go underneath and remove it . I could not feel it right away. They wanted to operate my back in 2 places for 250000$ I went to the healing rooms in Vacaville a few times because it was not going away . But I began to feel better every time. Then in faith and when I was almost...the hospital was pressuring me to keep the appt. I cancelled it. I went back to work GOD IS SOO GOOD. MY HUSBAND WAS BROUGHT BACK AFTER HE WAS PUT IN THE ROOM TO BE TAKEN TO THE MORGE. AND YESHUA GAVE HIM LIFE AGAIN

A year after this was preached, God was speaking to me about the big harvest He seems to have been speaking of for years, and He has been preparing for, I believe. He pointed me to John 4:34-36: 'Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.' The 'four' is significant; the time Jesus allowed Lazarus to stay dead before He came to raise him, tells us that even when we think we are - or He is - too late, there is still resurrection life to be lived and a joining-in with his work for us: He longs for each one of to abide in Him and know life lived with Him, including the bringing in of any who would come. This was preached in May 2021; 4 months from May is the end of the harvest in the fields. I believe God has been busy 'underground' the last few years, so this summer will see 'new thing's emerging (Isaiah 43:18-21): kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHSYeYiAdtOhY5osi=wBkVFG6OfmMGc5zo And next year, we can be part of the beginning of a great harvest. Those verses in John are Jesus speaking to his disciples, after the woman at the well had gone to tell of the One who gave her living water, though He knew everything about her. Jesus is putting in a nutshell what the prophets had spoken of, and what the books of Acts onwards are about - and what is left to do of what 'Jesus began to do', as Luke puts it to his friend, at the start of Acts. The prophets are also full of warnings to God's people; obedience brings his blessing, but disobedience:- '“I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain on one city, and send no rain on another city; one field would have rain, and the field on which it did not rain would wither; so two or three cities would wander to another city to drink water, and would not be satisfied; yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.' (Amos 4:7&8) As Pastor Bill says, regarding our ministry, 'The only thing that's urgent, and pressing in time, is evangelism, 'cause that's only now.' I am always blessed by Bill Johnson’s messages. God always speaks through him directly to me, exactly what I need at that time, and this time was the exhortation to worship God above all things. It’s so easy to get focused on all the earthly problems our country is going through, but God is still worthy of our worship and praise and must be our focus.

It's time to separate the wheat from the chaff and this requires a good "thrashing". I've basically been thrown out of every church I have ever attended because I point out the wolves in sheep's clothing especially those in leadership positions. I was a bishop in one church for six years and got to see some of the wolves up close and personal. I have preached for many years that when good people stand by and do nothing, evil will flourish until it consumes all that is good. This is the reason our churches are filled with evil people who hide amongst the Christian sect. Far too many times we see on the news where a church leader molests children, commits adultery, murder and even worse. I refuse to stand before the Judge of judges and have Him ask me why I didn't say anything when I saw evil deeds done by church leaders. I remember the first time I melted a batch of metal and at one point it looked as if it became a mirror and I could see myself looking at it. It's like the "refiners fire" mentioned in the Bible where Heavenly Father could see Himself in His children. God bless those who stand for righteousness and accept nothing less.

I love it and will continue to use it. I don't use it for study. I use it for inspiration and sometimes clarity on a passage, also with other words study tools, etc. The story behind the translation is quite moving. Critics are common for anyone doing anything.
