I don't listen much to Babymetal, and even though they are great, I've never seen them as happy and silly on in this music video. I would risk saying, that this collaboration with Electric Callboy brought some real joy to Babymetal world. I hope they'll go on and stay that happy and a bit silly, everybody deserves it! Thanks for this reaction, sorry to hear that you've missed the opportunity to see EC and Babymetal (I see they even performed Ratatata together, OH MY GOD!) but nevertheless - enjoy your day and have a peaceful flight! 😊

I was also surprised till I rwalised, zhey simply don't know the concept of telling small storiesvin a Video. This concept is foreign for them. They were always bound into their Choreo.

Thanks again from the country you live 有難う💛。I witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly. . . Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. That was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍

I must be living under a rock because I was already a Babmetal fan but had never heard of Electic Callboy. But this collab is just perfect. Straight-up rocket-fuel fun and energy. I've pretty much only listened to this song since Thursday and have been binging on reaction videos. Loved your commentary and I'm really sorry you missed seeing them. I don't even think they'll be coming to the US so I'm pretty disappointed. So I'll just keep listening to this song on repeat as consolation.

EC are incredible!!! You should definitely check them out. They just finished their US tour before coming to Japan. But I think they have a few summer festivals lined up 😃

Great reaction, and know how you feel. I booked a holiday at Disney in 2016 for my godson and myself and BabyMetal performed a big show at Wembley. Arena 😭 had to go to Disney for my Godson . This is such a fun song . both getting equal time. What a collaboration should be . 😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

the thing about EC is mhmm how to explain. its like they have no reputation to lose anymore haha. i mean they can almost do what ever they want at this point and the people will ike it. unlike other bands where the fans get hell of upset if they try new things and step away from their music "formula"

Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🔥 Bummer you couldn't have the chance to see them live last weekend, i just saw another reactor review who recently become a fan and went to see them yesterday but unfortunately he couldn't enjoy the show with full energy bc he was feeling under the weather.🤧 But like i told him I'm pretty you'll get more chances to see them live just stay alert for next concerts and festivals as well Tour calendar. Anyway I'm pretty sure this is gonna be the hit of this 2024 summer. Hopefully they will play this at Download Festival too or any other festival. Polyphia were there playing a set but also the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played for the second time (the day before was the first time) in the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. My favorite highlights: - MoaMetal is killing me everytime she blow a kiss.💀❤️ - MomoMetal stealing the cam with her funny faces.🍑 - SuMetal shaking it during the breakdown.💃 The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. Another reference some reactors found was about breaking the wall with Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although fans spotted in the live version, so it could be her after all. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Next suggestion to meet another super collab they did recently: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. Hope to see you around with more BM songs. See you next time 🦊🤘🐭

In this MV, EC is dressing like space men(casual version😂). The giant disco ball they singing to remind me the giant ball scene in the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still". At the end, EC re-connects the broken power cords and ready to go back their planet. The outfit of Babymetal is also kind of space suit (anime version). That's the outfit since Babymetal came back from space.

For all we know it could be in the works already. This song is the new party song. Everybody is getting down. Lol To think Babymetal and Electric Callboy both started around 2010 from what I've been told. They both blend genres and make people happy. Coincidence? Things that make you go Hmm. Now we need a group like this from every continent. That way we can have a world fun festival. Babymetal and Electric Callboy have proven that metal doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. 4:55 on EC's shiny helmets/wardrobe; that seems like was a side effect of the video concept having them or stunt doubles jump through multiple walls (even if looks at most just one layer of drywall without structural support behind), basically pushing need of safety gear covering head/extremities, so stylized it to at least look theatrical

I disagree. The world is the sum total of us, humans, all of us. If the world is sh¡t, thats our fault. Babymetal and Electric Callboy are the heroes we absolutely need, but dont really deserve. Theyre carrying a hugh load of neutralizing sh¡t and more happiness to this world. Im very glad people are giving them their roses and appriciate the privilege it is to have them here, in our time line.
