Thanks for putting this out there! Great training methods. Loved the "low basin"/squatting movments. Would make for one strong kua and psoas muscles...

@shadowcar88 I agree with you about barefeet having more balance in the general sense, but 52 blocks is a more practical system and you must train as natural as possible. Gi's and shirtless are great in a controlled environment but a real fight is totally unpredictable with respect to time of day, location and clothing. I know guys who do executive security for a living and they train in suits and hard bottom shoes because that is most likely the style of dress that they will be fighting in.

@shadowcar88 Point taken. But listen, the difference in realistic fight training and Mc dojo style fight training is we incorporate real senarios in our training. How many times are you gonna find yourself in a real street fight in a Japenese Gi or barefooted? Most martial arts trainers train their students in unrealistic climates and environments. Bruce Lee once wrote that he taught, "scientific street fighting". blaq ninja nyc

see, you learn alot when you train yourself. i set me up a slip bag at home and when i evolved, i started do what you doing to simulate dodging the punch and hitting the person behind it, thats what your doing right? and a good place to do that leg up thing you did on the rock is them park with the wood boarders around them, it gets your balance and leg strenght rite like crazy

Cool "Monkey boxing" at around 5mins. But tell me: You're obviously building strong legs with this, but doesn't the word "root" presuppose that you' should be able to bring that power up into your punches as well? I see a lot of power not making it past the waist area, due to inefficient posture of the lower back. The young skinny dude's got it right though, especially for a beginner!

That's good form, keep up the good work. For the street go bare knuckle, low crouching that's what I did in tiger claw kung fu.
