It’s Laundry Day Off Grid in Remote Alaska!

With every day living it certainly causes laundry, the never ending pile that grows! While we are not out here full time yet, we do have the need to wash laundry during longer visits. Having this washing machine is convenient but long term we will need to look at other solutions as this would be a few hours daily task to accomplish a minimal amount to stay on top of laundry. Yes, that does sound an awful a lot like the modern convinces of today in an on grid lifestyle if I am honest, but this is a bit more labor intensive and requires constant involvement as opposed to starting a load and walking away. However, it is possible, it is necessary and we do make it work! Previously on another episode we demonstrated using an agitator tool in a bucket and that has been working well, but we wanted to try a different style this round to see how this one goes.
