Can’t ever forget how ridiculously difficult it is to navigate some of these random words and make it all make sense and in perfect rhythm. He makes it look easy, but that last batch of words gave me a headache for him just thinking about it. Mack is unreal

For real, it's a quad-core effort for the brain: 1- remembering the key word 2- extracting a punchline from its meaning 3- elaborating how to rhyme the punchline (which often requires thinking about other words for rhymes, not just the key word) 4- trying to limit the filler at a minimum by making the setup as seamless as possible (sometimes sticking 2 punchlines instead of 1 during a 4 bars phrase) The fourth point kinda involves doing all previous 3 again, sometimes. Also I omitted coming up with a nice pocket only because to Harry (and experienced freestylers in general actually) that part comes spontaneously, without mental effort
