My childhood was during the 1970's living on a council estate surrounded by green area's in a day and age with only (BBC One/BBC Two and ITV) three TV channels on a single black and white TV, no-moblie phones, no Playstations, no DVD players, no HD recorders and no Netflix etc. It's crazy to think that the complete lack of expensive gadgets and choice was at times a plus, because it took me outdoors and to use my imagination to be creative in play!

Same here council estate lad. Just the 1980’s times were different back then though, weren’t they. The outdoors was a thing. And as you’ve mentioned our imagination, was the best thing that could make someone’s day great?
