Happy birthday, Sam. You have a great relationship with your sons. I have the same type of relationship with my 3 sons. I couldn't be happier or prouder of them. It has was just us four men until they grew up and moved out. My youngest son and I bought a house, and he moved in when he got sole custody of his daughter and now I get to raise a girl at the age of 58!! She is 9 and has lived with us for 5 years.

Sam, this episode brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. My dad is currently in end-of-life care (hospice), and could pass any time now. What a fun time. Happy B-day Sam. Not looking for sympathy/ empathy, just commenting. I sure do miss my father and now my brother. My dad passed unexpectedly when he was 46, I was 24. My brother died last August just 20 days after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. These are the type of family gatherings that make great memories, and I am certainly glad I have some similar ones with my family. Watching this production makes me dearly miss both of them. 😥
