I just love that you let the kids teach you how to swim (or feel like they are doing it). Parents should not be embarrassed of being vulnerable in front of their children and showing that they don't know everything. It's a relationship that goes both ways. As you give love and get love, similarly you teach them things and sometimes they teach you if you're open enough. Also it can be a reflection of you. Look at them saying they are proud of you, exactly like you would.

Yesss tamales are made different in every region, it even varies from city to city, I live in Mexico and the tamales from my hometown are very different from the tamales in my grandma’s hometown, which is only like two hours away. I’m glad you want to learn more from Costa Rica’s culture 💕

Just focus on your breathing when you swim, don’t hold your breath in, and you’ll be good. Basically when you realize that you can move your legs and arms just enough to keep yourself away from drowning, you’ll enjoy swimming ahah I swim quite slow but that’s cause I really like to keep connected with nature and water and with all the beauty around, instead of focusing to be fast :) beautiful video btw 🥰

I'm dying at the "swimming curse" I swear, it's Russian thin. My family is all from Russia and my mom and older sister cannot swim either, despite my dad trying to teach them for decades. We immigrated to the US and I was taught how to swim immediately when I was 5 years old. So I swear, it's just a Russian thing.
