Missed y’all yesterday….it’s 4:58 a.m. in the province in which I reside…woke up n came to see if u had posted today….glad I did n happy that y’all did….love the family unit always being there for each other….so refreshing in this selfish world that is today….btw, have u tried cerasee…. Cerassee tea is a type of bush tea - a tea made from local plants. It's typically made by boiling fresh leaves and stems of a wild variety of the bitter melon plant, which is known as cerasee in Jamaica…. The ​benefits of cerasee​ are that it helps to regulate ​blood​ sugar, decreases cholesterol, detoxifies the liver, is low in calories and high in fibre. ​Bitter gourd,​ as it is also called, contains high amounts of vitamins A, C, and folate…..i love to eat bitter melon with eggs which my local Chinese restaurant makes for me…the first time I mentioned that I grew up eating n drinking it in Jamaica, he was amazed that I even knew about it…harks back to my having said here that I was a fixture at the dinner table of my Chinese friends in my village …now, when I am at the restaurant n the staff has made their owm lunch meal which is usually a dish not on the menu, I am always invited to join them…..frankly, the ONLY restaurant I frequent IS this particular Chinese Restaurant….congee for breakfast, dim sum for lunch…..I LOVE authentic Chinese cuisine..no watered down Westernised recipes for me…heck, we use a lot of Scotch Bonnet /Habanero peppers in Ja so the Chilli peppers r a breeze …..pity that the variety of Aloe that was introduced to a few Chinese Provinces, lú huì, is not edible….in Jamaica , our specie Aloe vera barbadensis miller is edible….i drink aloe juice flavoured with other fruits…ur videos make me hanker for the village life I enjoyed as a child…Jah bless n keep y’alll
