I like the idea of Dumb Phones, but I feel like it needs to be adopted in a method similar to Smart Watches, a second device linked to your main smartphone so while your taking a break you still have all your main data for contacts, music, and GPS, but you don’t have the rest of your apps and it’s cheap and high battery life. That’s what would get me to be able to use one of these.

This phone/OS as a concept isn’t or shouldn’t be targeting those detoxifying from tech but rather for those who have issues with tech to have another step up the ladder. that will always be as smooth as 1 grit sandpaper or falling down a flight of stairs end over end thinking about it that way. The issue is your standpoint/viewpoint… if you approach it from the other direction it maybe more favorable and you can see more potential growth avenues.

Mine was the original Nokia. Then some flip phones, then a tiny brick phone from Cingular Wireless. Then a Samsung Transform which was awesome. Then a slide up phone that had the body is a round makeup thing.
