What if the suspect was under the influence or something and ran out his door with a knife, then bullets fly, what if your caught in the crossfire? You should be able to film I'm not denying that, but I feel like your just being a bit irresponsible and disrespectful for no good reason. The cops want to make sure their investigation doesn't get influenced or obstructed by outside sources, and they wanna make sure everything is safe.

Brother, its impeding because if you are in the way and a suspect comes out with a weapon, you are in harms way, and could potentially sue the police for allowing you be in harms way during an in investigation. So don't be difficult when they are being nice to you, they are even saying you can film you just cant be in their WAY when dealing with a suspect who could be dangerous.
