For the hoses, we use totes, like the ones that slide under a bed. We keep the clean stuff in one, the electrical stuff in another, and the sewer/cleaning stuff in another.

Us as well. Anything related to the sewer is ALWAYS kept in a separate container. Our unit is only 24.5’, so not much bigger.
@richardvandenarend81492 жыл бұрын
For your various water hoses, if you connect the 2 ends of a hose together to store them, any water in the hose will not leak out. Also it prevents anything from getting into the hose. This will help with the cross contamination concerns.

Wow camping has changed in 38 years. Last time was with my parents when our son was two. So happy for you. Camping brings families together. My parents and I ruffed it in a small travel trailer. It was small, but fun. Traveling and having a camp fire at night. Of course you have to have marshmallows. Best wishes on travels.

You can buy a roll of shelf and drawer liner that’s rubber like I actually forget what it’s called, looks kind of like lace, don’t know how to describe it but you can cut it to fit in your pots and pans to keep from rubbing and rattling, also works great under things on counter on the table. You can get it at Walmart, dollar stores, a large roll goes along way.

What interested me was the temperature/humidity gauge as I am in the Low Country in S.C. and I have three Damp Rids hung in my pantry, bathroom, and bedroom closet next to the combo washer and dryer. I also have two dehumidifiers going at all times. It took me about 6 tries before I could read the name on your dehumidifier gauge so I could try to find them at Amazon. Since I got three, one for the living/dining/kitchen, one for the bathroom, and one for the bedroom (Cedar Creek 40CFK2) I imagine they will all have different readings (the biggest complaint.) An RV tech told me "that running the air conditioner is enough" but I don't find that to be so. My question for you: Does the one dehumidifier keep your RV dry enough so you don't wake up in a puddle every morning and have to keep your bed unmade until the sheets, pillows, and mattress pad dry out?

I too like it very dark at night and will take black tape to cover bright lights in appliances even in the house! Our water in the house faces our bedroom and because the blue and red lights that are fur cold and hot water are very bright and shine right into our bedroom and our bed faces the same door. Basically you can see the water cooler/heater right from our bed in our bedroom that’s in our kitchen and it’s bright so the door is always closed but when we need more airflow into the bedroom but “I” don’t want to deal with the bright lights “I” put black tape over the lights. I say “I” because the man of the house sleeps like a bear, sees and hears NOTHING in his sleep and falls sleep after a minute of his head on a pillow. I toss n turn and hear every lil thing so I’m more victim to disturbances where he is not especially because his hearing isn’t great either in one ear so he’s blessed at night while I’m not.
