I go to Kitchener/Waterloo all the time. I have family there. It’s a boring city, there is nothing there. If your life is work and staying home and doing nothing, then it could work. If you like big city vibe, downtown buzz then you will kill yourself if you live in Kitchener/Waterloo. And if you have to go to GTA for work then it’s a nightmare.

Guys, I was watching your video about when u bought your home, I have a suggestion, don't keep your garage key on the sun visor in your car, keep it in the glove box so it's hidden as it's an access to your house, god forbid your car gets broken into atleast they won't straight go inside your home. Better yet upgrade to a digital garage opener thing that fits into the old opener and u can open it with your phone.

There are different types of people in the world and not everyone would be happy to live so so far from the actual city or where all the fun is. You have to include the factor of fun/life, not everything is about money. What will you do with this money if you are bored in a city like Kitchener. I agree that GTA is very expensive but if you are moving to Canada, you have to see and enjoy the city the way it is. I feel your life is easy and more fun if you are in GTA. I'm asking about when we should have a job offer to include it in the Express Entry(EE) profile? I mean if someone got a job offer before applying EE profile, then when do they join that job! till then HR will allow that extent? I mean the whole PR process takes time right! Overall : If new immigrants prefer & enjoy living close to nature (Jasper / Banff National Park) , open spaces, relaxed environment , affordable houses and still pay 8% lower tax on everything they buy, then they should consider living in Calgary. If they prefer living in concrete jungle, long commutes, higher taxes, unaffordable housing ( are ok to live in Condo/TownHome), then they should definitely consider Toronto

Prices in GTA are simply not sustainable !! People are not earning that kind of money. There is no way people can afford 1-1.5 M house even with two people working. Its gonna shrink for sure. The government would have interfered but the only reason they’re not doing it is because the housing market contributing significantly to the economy.

*How about Univ of Victoria and or Victoria Island Univ and or Royal roads and or UNBC which one is better for MBA TYPE program ?* Which one is better and is studying in bigger city better or the smaller towns or places like Victoria Island ? *And is **#Kitchener** having jobs for MBA ? and the colleges in Kitchener give options for education GAP of more than 15 years and working and coming as international candidates an admission ? Will they ?* And BC compared to #Kitchener which location to STUDY and stay as student is better ??

Kitchener will beat every other location as it has a GO Station, LRT, massive universities, rental prospects as mortgage helper and a big city ecosystem (city markets, big hospitals et al). We bought our double garage detached house for 800K early this year and covid is continuously exploding the demand in K-W area. More and more employees are negotiating for permanent Work from Home in their HR interviews. This “ask” will become a permanent trend. This is the REALITY of Canadian job market and the future too. No one wants to drive 3 hours from work and kill their health in longer term. Covid just gave them a vent and the real estate market is shifting the trend from downtown Toronto to other big cities where housing is more affordable. Kitchener is, no doubt, the future city.

Also amazing video guys. I’m glad to see people who are willing to look beyond the conventional. That herd mentality to be near Toronto downtown is just adding financial stress to people’s lives. Job market has changed and people must realize this.
