My goto tarp setup is a plow point. This one looks great for it. I'd change the knot in the paracord to a figure 8. Causes less stress on the fibers. Paracord is usually nylon, stretchy, and likes water. Dacron and most of the polyester lines, aren't stretchy and don't suck up water. Just options to think about.
@trcoutdoors57277 ай бұрын
Hi mate, the cordage is bankline not paracord for exactly the reasons you mention.

Dacron is used for bowstrings too.

That tarp looks like what is needed. Most are 7x9 or bigger and the 9x9 could be the perfect size. I like the reinforced loops and the cord pouches, although not necessary are functional. Top, keep moving in that forward direction. Nice presentation.

I've seen some of the high dollar gizmos and gadgets. Sleep systems that are $400 to $600 hundred dollar's. The best sleep bedroll that I've discovered is a 5'x7' duck canvas tarp; a woobie poncho liner; and two 80% Wool blankets all for under $150.

Seems stronger than the light fighter tarp, my tarp arrived faulty. Light fighter refused to service it unfortunately.

I used an almost identical on in DPM by KitMonster last week in on off rain. One night three of us were snuggled up under it in the rain and were giggling like school girls finding animals in the pattern.

I think i need that. I have a woobie and poncho but to have this also would make things alot better i think. Im actually painfully short on gear still. I think I almost have the bare minimum at this point. I pretty much have enough gear to look cool and spend one night on a nice night outside without making any food.

Pro tip for quick tarp folding: 1) Lay out tarp flat. 2) Take your 9 & 3 o'clock positions, bring together into your left hand over the middle of the tarp & hold there. 3) Place right hand in the middle of the tarp. Pull the right hand toward your body, underneath your left hand holding those two ends. 4) Once your right hand is pulled toward you, take both hands & pull them apart like your finishing tieing a big knot. Presto! Want a video? Go to: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYeygX6jariqZqssi=_IJN81VfoS1owHAY & go to 2:20.

Stoked about a solid basher! These are solid reviews, and better than our other channel fav, Randell did the NS food... man I am just not with that - IMO - expensive "fear mongering" food and I really do not like that Tesla driving dude... I guess we just take the good with the bad, as grunts need to and should make a buck for their labor.

All 3 years, all three games, were lost by two points.. lol, luckily he became an engineer. Lol.. anyways.. I been buying some gear out of the UK and EU lately. For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. You keep getting up asking for forgiveness and don't stop until He gives you rest. The sinner quits says it's too hard and won't ask Jesus for help, thereby sending himself to perdition, has none to blame but himself.
