With Lytham average yearly rainfall of 52.1 inches per year and approximate service area of that drain at 9150sqft, it drains ~247,000 gallons of rain water per year. Cheers Tom

Pretty much my whole slurry store! How mad is that!
@John_Brown_33
@John_Brown_33 Ай бұрын
Absolutely mad. Even factoring for evaporation in the slurry store, that's still nearly 100 tanker trips to the field just getting rid of rain water. You'll need to adjust your slurry application rate to factor in the decreased water content.

On part of the build I’m on at present we had to use a raft footer as the foundations were within 10m of a TPO’d tree, we were only allowed to dig 400mm into ground to protect the tree (quite rightly) so instead of a 2m squared base we ended up with 3m x 5m base

Just wondering what is the big thing about roofing the clamp, is it just for comfort when feeding out during winter as well as avoiding dirty water storage? Very few roofed in Ireland, much cheaper unroofed and easier for the loader man to operate on. Good video as always!!

@@cowsrcool1103 you do realise that it is a functional farm. the concrete wont be pure white and shiny machinery lol. When they build in an area where the ground is unstable ie where they have been mining they put in a ground beam tied into short bore piles making the the foundations into table with the outer beams taking the main building wall. So basically if the ground should move the building itself will stay up .😮
