I couldn’t agree more! Solo q’ing becomes nearly impossible once you reach gold. Either you run into 3 stacks, a teammate is afk or you end up with in pro lobbies

idk i’ve solo queued to diamond multiple times and I find it quite fun but lately i find myself in pred lobbies wayyyy too much to be enjoyable

Currently grinding to diamond solo and it’s a nightmare. I either get overly aggressive teammates or people that want to sit back and hide the entire game. Hopefully it gets better as I get into plat

Nah it doesn't. There is a reason the pickrates and win rates are higher on the movement players. It's because at plat onwards ya basically gotta have a solo mindset. And be selfish as a solo queue player who doesn't have teammates on mic. Or with a familiar playstyle. Trick is you will always be better if you know what your team mates is gonna do. And if you don't. You are better off solo than getting complacent and relying on them to keep formation or consistent gameplay and teamwork

That's my only way of keeping sane. And I probably annoy a bunch of no micing duos. But my name used to be NoMicNoRes so that made it pretty clear from the start what was gonna happen if people came into ranked without a mic

It’s always the ones with 138 damage(38 of which came from failing to kill you when you had less than 100hp) that t-bag the deathboxes. They’ll also say that the sweaty solo wraith was toxic and trying too hard.

Hey Rich it's not much of an argument but Olympus map is the only map that makes me feel like I'm still playing Titanfall. I don't know why. But yeah I feel you could put Titans on the map and it wouldnt need much reworking to make it work. Gives me hope they actually will know what to do when they do eventually give us a Titanfall 3 battle royale

Me and my 45 year old buddies play once a week to chit chat and have fun playing a shooter game. And we ALL WAYS come across 20 Kill Preds all most every match. It absolutely sucks.

I kill preds all the time though and I've never got above Diamond. Trick is just landing where they land and getting them early or when they are split in the chaos. Most people are still in the old meta mindset of dropping. Looting. Slowly building up to more intense battles. But these days I just go for the roads asap. Cause I'm not wasting 20 mins just to get insta wiped by some strike pack/xim dork 3 stack

I'm 36 and my squad is 30-52. Ya just gotta go with the % play. Hope they get a gun they don't like, or not enough ammo. Or the 3rd party But if you aren't there with them. Then it just lowers the chances of winning. Back in the day when you could find and upgrade armour at replicators there was always the risk of some squad rocking up who's been looting all game ect. And it was kinda fun to try and be that squad. Especially for the more casual players like us But ATM it's just meta or misery for us old ducks haha

I went from playing this game 4 hours every day when it first came out to now clocking in about 4 hours each season and its exclusively due to the skill-based matchmaking (and Path's tac being determined by how far you slide out of a grapple instead of how far you grapple)

I'm never playing Apex again it's horrible All I do is play with uncoordinated players and get team shot by losers I die in MILLISECONDS I'm a platinum player from season 6 and I face ONLY MASTERS make it make sense I'm not playing until the braindead devs at EA can put me in a lobby that matches my goddamn skill
