I dearly hope that Riot changes top lane and how isolated it is, most my favorite champs are there but none of them really want to sit in an isolated lane all game matching a split pusher. Top lane is so incredibly boring because of it.

Im suprised there is no objectives in the top alcove and bottom alcove...although that wouldnt improve things i feel the same way. Kinda glad i started playing pantheon support. Its my style and one of my favorites....now for jax lol

luckily they may actually be working on this. they announced at a recent dev blog that they are working on a system for when the nexus becomes exposed, there will be something there for most likely the team that gets exposed. we dont know much beyond that will have to wait until january to find out but hopefully that is something to help stop the split pushing even just a little bit

i know zzrot was definitely a bad item, but i think you could slow down split pushing if you made a zzrot like item that you apply to allied towers that spawns extra minions that never leave your own tower range. the idea being making the tower harder to take by giving purely defensive minions to slow down pushes. maybe it spawns two minions one of the following types. offensive minion. targets champions within the tower range first, has more offensively aligned stats than the second, defensive minion that makes tower/minions harder to kill. the idea being if you ignore the bonus minions and just hit tower because your too strong for your opponents or they are absent from having died ectra, then the agro minion will make you trade your health for tower health by hitting you as you ignore it, or trade your time and pressure from having to delay taking tower by killing the minion hitting you. the defensive minion will provide some kind of defensive aura to the tower and allied minions under tower. perhaps every 5 seconds it gives the tower a small shield that stacks up to 3 times, or give it % damage reduction. as for minions maybe it periodically heals minions other than itself. or gives flat protections to nearby minions. i am no expert on wave management so i cant say for sure if these suggestions would cause degenerate strategies. but the idea is that if you lost too hard or got outscaled you buy this to give you strength under tower so at least you can slow down the enemy split push a bit and hopefully ward off dives or buff your tower before you back and help a teamfight knowing your minions will at least slow down the split push a little. try to win the 5v4 and if you win either the enemy split pusher didnt get a ton of pressure because they were forced to deal with the extra minions or they maybe lost some health to the minions as they tried to rush the tower and you could maybe rotate and kill them. of course you could use this to slow down a siege but many people would deal with two extra minions much easier and faster than 1 person so its value would lesson in terms of being an anti siege tool. but of course im just some random viewer who came up with on the fly and thought it out as i typed it. so clearly i havent thought through everything and discovered why it would be a bad idea. hull breaker was kind of a win more more item so i thought a lose less item would be fair for the split push strategies.

Graves damage 10 minutes into the game is insane. You also can't really kill him since he stacks armor with his passive. Insane champ for solo queue because he's kinda a raidboss if you're confident on him like the enemy Graves. I would like if Riot just makes a hard-reset every season and removes smurf queue instead of these splits. If you're Gold, you should have the confidence to climb back to Gold, if you don't have the confidence that means you never deserved Gold in the first place, the harsh truth.
