@@dianamcdaniel9614, although it's taken on different forms over the years, I believe this has been going on since around 1990 (the 10th anniversary of John's murder). I was there in 1990, but just singing and paying my respects, not playing my drums there as of yet.

I got nothing but admiration for people being creative [hey no money guys..enjoy!] Being a conservative [english] south african [now in the east..]I am blown away... by the wonderful [free thinking] anything goes dress styles. That good drummer took me some time before I recognized him haha. Go guys..enjoy and we dance along..good spirit. Some really talented guys.. That first song always breaks my heart [... only quiet mind is ...] So hard to find truly natural green..in spirit.. events people gathering and ..in the poet way of the heart.. not robot..ego mind way... they show how harmonious we all can be ..in a better world. ​@@daviemcf That would go against the spirit of these events. He just needs to develop a sense of when to play during the song and when not to. The clarinet is high in register compared to many other instruments, so it stands out a lot-making any mistake on it ten times more noticeable. Additionally, a concession should be made for the fact that all these videos are recorded on cellphones. Cellphones capture only a small segment of the surrounding sound, so in the actual setting, those clarinet additions that seem off might not have been as obvious as they appear in the video. However, one thing that desperately needs attention is keeping the clarinet in tune with the other instruments. As far as I know, the clarinet itself cannot be adjusted or tuned, but skilled players can still make adjustments through playing. That’s the skill he urgently needs to master. On a positive note, he did a great job in 'I Am the Walrus'-you can find that video with a girl drumming there. Moreover, there are Beatles songs where the clarinet is used, such as 'When I’m Sixty-Four.' If they ever decide to perform that song, his presence would be indispensable.
