Ingles Gym was and still us respected in the boxing world, some great fighters came out of that gym. These rumours of drug taking is sad, however, i feel that social media has stirred it up worse than it is. Under Brendan Ingle (R.I.P) that gym was amazing, i grew up a stones throw from gym and from a young child knew Brendan and his family, majority of young lads and lasses will have stepped inside that gym because it was a big part of the community, Brendan was no cheat and wouldnt tolerate any drug use at all. If since Brendan retired from an active role at the gym there has been a drug problem then it has started when Dominic took the reigns, maybe his body building past was the issue? Anyway, i just think its unfair to condem a whole gym because a few made mistakes, i know lots of lads who still go to that gym and their all clean, brought up under Brendans tutelage.

I have respect for both Ingle and Brook, but have to point out when Ingle says here that Brook needs an experienced trainer for the big fights, which are different to the lower level guys, he did lose a big fight to Spence with Ingle in his corner anyway.
