I've no idea what James Franco is like behind closed doors, but I think many women took advantage of the MeToo movement and wanted to jump on the bandwagon when nothing wrong took place. One guy got kicked out of college after being accused of r#pe but the truth was that the girl wanted a relationship with him after they had a one-night stand, and she wanted to get even with him after he said no to a relationship. I think Seth Rogan is a coward, he knew James for years and he only cut him off after Seth went from the edgy R rated comedy guy to wanting to be the lefty woke guy that lectures the rest of us on morals. I guess Seth got advice from another coward like Jimmy Kimmel.

I sort of agree with your view on Seth, It kinda sucks because when I was in high school & stuff, Franco/Rogan/Hill were at their peak & me and my mates loved going to see their movies This is the end, The interview, Bad Neighbours, 21 Jump etc. I genuinely think Seth Rogan was a hilarious talented comedian! but same with Jonah hill, post 2020s I gotta say I don't find them as appealling, either thru being political thru social media posts and that weed company houseplant or whatever. Or getting caught up in weird shit. The Charms been lost but can it be regained is the question?

@@BishopWalters12 Dude he admitted to just about everything. The point is he would lie and do things to the women pretending it was for eduction and acting purposes. He would hold things over their heads as a famous actor. Just watch his interview where he admits it. Don’t blame Seth for not wanting to be his friend anymore. People have wives and kids and other friends. They also have an image they work years to build and they don’t want to ruin it by associating with a rich famous dude that does things like this. He could get laid anytime he wants and still chose to scam young women to sleep with them. It’s obviously more than just sex and dude has issues. I wouldn’t wanna be buddies with someone like that either.

@@gumie3579 some of his actions were definitely illegal, in one case he paid out $2mil for sexually exploiting two students. A few high profile actresses have spoken out against his nefarious behaviour on set, and a quick google search will show a pattern of sexual exploitation. It’s obvious that Defranco has a sex addiction which he has admitted getting treatment for, but the long and short of it is that he exploited actresses while in a position of authority and that’s wrong.

On one hand I like James franco and it's sad that his friendship with Seth Rogan is over but on the other hand I don't understand how celebrities have all of this success, fame, and fortune yet still get caught up in dumb shit like those allegations. It's frustrating because he's such a great actor yet he never stopped to think about his actions when he taught those classes.

100% it's just one of those awkward situations where you love the man from a far. He's charming, handsome, funny, an amazing actor. He had so much going for him. Then you have to try and separate your biased view on someone and wonder what the hell were they thinking? You're in this blessed position that everyone dreams of and you let your addiction to attention and s*x get the better of you. Getting intimate with people in a work environment where obviously tons of people who look up to you are going to attend. Then you're pressuring them with scenes that feel beyond artistic choices. I think his ego just got the best of him. The fact that everything was consensual does make me think with time and energy into bettering himself and behaving properly with the people him there could be a possibility of him returning to the lime light. I do understand if others disagree with me.
