I went from people thanking for my service at the hospital when I worked through the pandemic, to people telling me I wasn’t doing my part when I refused to get that shot. I heard some doctors talking, stating the unvaccinated should be forced to get it. Nurses and doctors who said the unvaccinated should have to wait to be seen at the hospital and the vaccinated should get special treatment. I never took it and never will, told them I’d pack up and walk off, would rather lose my job than be forced to allow that garbage to enter my blood stream. I kept getting told to follow the science, I work in Pathology (the study of disease), I was following the real science, not the made up science they were spouting off.

When my boss asked us at an H&S meeting if we were taking the “jab”, when it got round to me and I responded no, she asked why. I said “Because I’m not a guinea pig”. She was quite taken back and I had to explain that any drug being rushed out at this pace wasn’t going in my body, and I’m so glad I stuck by that. I got a new primary care physician around Feb/March 2022. I didn’t know what to expect, and although covid was going away, I figured I’d “play it safe” 🙄 and wear the mask into my visit. I noticed my doctor also had on a mask but most other people in the building, including most nurses, were not wearing one. I asked him at the end of my visit if there were any kind of requirements to wear one in the building and he said no, and that he only wore one because I had mine on and he was trying to be polite. I then proceeded to tell him I was not vaccinated, I am not sure why I blurted that out but it got his attention and he asked why not. I wanted to say because I think it’s bullshit but didn’t want to be rude. I told him after thinking it through, I just decided that I wasn’t going to, and that I’ve never even had a flu shot either. He never once told me I needed to get vaccinated and since then I suspect he is actually not vaccinated either based on other info I have learned and conversations we have had.

An older couple, I know, both died after their 3rd.
