Something they could do to help dares is make the armor only drop if it’s not in your collections so that people can still get old armor for transmog but the weapons have a slightly better chance.

The reason Bungie makes decisions that can seem counter productive to efficient farming is because they are trying to be counter productive to efficient farming. you're high, i've gotten many cracked stat distribution pieces which drop up to 68 total stats (at least with the old armor pre dares update this season). granted they aren't as useful since artifice is getting changed, dares is probably the best source for non artifice high stat gear that is farmable outside of seasonal umbral focusing

Ive rolled hundreds and hundreds of Ignition Codes and have never gotten one with Slideshot and Blinding. Not a single time. Been trying for that weapon literally since it dropped.... I did the math, and odds for that weapon with that roll are 1 in 630 or a 0.001587% chance. So... Yeah.. Simple math btw. (1/6)*(1/5)*(1/21) is all you have to type in the calculator. Feel free to replace the 6(number of perks in slot), 5(number of perks in slot), and 21(number of items available to get from activity) with whatever the chance is for whatever particular weapon you're hunting for and there you go. If you're also looking for specific barrel and mag perks, just add to more fractions with 1 over whatever number of perks are optainable in that slot and you'll have your odds. Prepare to cry though. If you wanted an Igition Code with a specific barrel and mag perk, and there were lets say 6 perks in each of those slots, the chance of that is 0.000040917% chance or 1 in 22,727 chance of getting said god roll... Looks like you got it though. Congrats... Lucky dog.
