Hello and welcome to back Cities Skylines 2!
Well after last week's triumph with the new university island, we're going to be looking at how we can encourage more people to actually educate themselves. There's a distinct lack of capacity with the colleges and the elementary schools, so more of them is essential!
We're also going to be adding some new housing, which would be nice to use some low density as there's a few too many skyscrapers if you ask me! More motorways, train stations and buses to get the masses transported, and I think I may have solved a major traffic issue!

The high rent issue is actually a very well known bug which is very annoying. Whenever you put a commercial building in a certain area, that particular area's land value will be skyrocketing into the max value.

Joe! To solve your University Island, you need to add residential (dorms, faculty homes, etc.) and services...

Well done for finally doing some lane mathematics under the junctions and reducing the lanes there. The main problem with your roundabout junctions is that you don't have enough lanes. At least 3 or 4 lanes are required, considering your roads are 2 lanes and there are cars joining from the motorway. Preferably 5 lanes if the roundabout is busy. Please add some commercial and residential around the university - it's not realistic to just have a university by itself. This way, more people will use the metro as well.
