As I get out on my first real trail bike in a decade this year to some really good destinations, (Hopefully they remain open!) I love that you have covered many of them so I can get my stoke up! Your videos are just so good, they and MTBing has changed my life, I owe you, Seth and the rest of the KZbin MTB creators a huge thank you for keeping the stoke-up through my saving for 6 months, riding a department store bike and making ot through the snow. Michigan, my home, will be the first trails I ride. I live by DTE Energy Foundation Trail. Awesome fun, but you sure earn it! How many of the northern Michigan destinations that you ride offer lift or Shuttles? Shuttles may stop running this spring:(... but let's hope for a healthy and safe spring and get past this.

I went to school up there, adventure company was new, and they where just cutting the first trail before I left. rode it once, so many roots, so much bear scat, it was everywhere. I was alone, I sang to warn bears the whole time, didn't see any bears, until I got to the trailhead and hit pavement, and a bear ran right in front of me. it's so crazy what they have done that it is such a destination now. crap half my riding in college involved ignoring no tresspassing signs. times have changed.

I spent over twenty years living near Marquette, and there were no mountain biking trails in those days. Everyone back then was obsessed with preserving the environment UP there. I have been visiting Copper Harbor and biking there decades ago before any trails were built. I still prefer the trails that my 8,000 pound SUV fit on, and switch over to my mountain bike when the path gets too narrow. Consider skipping the man made paths and instead ride the paths to the end of High Rock Bay and Keystone Bay for the best views in the whole state of Michigan overlooking Lake Superior.

This ride looked Endor Lush. This is one of the premier trail systems within range for me (Chequamegon for bikepacking, Copper Harbor for trail riding). I have never made the trip so this video was particularly engaging. I hail from Madison, WI. Quarry Ridge (the most technical MTB trail in Madison) has features on par with what I saw in this video but the length of trails, the sheer scale of Copper Harbor gets me dreaming. This seems like a natural transition, "Thanks IMBA and industry standards!" I always enjoy Brian's videos but this one will help me approach an attainable trip. Special thanks from the Midwest!

Hi BKXC - A cheap & easy fix for creaking suspension, pedals, etc. is to use a few drops of White Lightening dry in between the creaking surfaces. It stays dry and doesn't get that nasty dust & lube paste. And an easy fix for a creaking body is more coffee... Love those nice smooth trails.
