It's been raining outside here in the UK for months! Very wet and cool spring. But yesterday and today it's suddenly got a lot sunnier and warmer. Long may it continue.

We were blessed by couple of very lovely sunny and warm weeks before rains started again. You wouldn't believe how beautiful is Kyiv during spring despite war... everywhere there are tulips, lilac in bloom, jasmine, and our famous horse chestnut trees!

@@ColoringwithAlena I remember you taking us all on a spring or early summer tour of Kyiv before this horrible war. It was lovely then. I'm glad it's still lovely and it will be in the future. It was mild here for a couple of weeks very early on, but then went cold again. Our magnolias (UK wide) flowered a full month early. But trying to grow tomato plants from seed just hasn't worked with the later cold snap so we've had to buy some plants this year. I love tulips. One of my favourite flowers. I had a lot this year. I did a lot of lasagna planting (if you don't know what that is it's layering bulbs in a pot so that you have a continuous show of flowers from February (miniature iris) through to mid May). But they are mostly finishing off now. My deep purple lilac is just coming out. Gorgeous. I love spring most of all. The green colours are so light and fresh and everything smells good. Thank you for sharing your art with us. You have such a great talent for it.
