I'm just...crying too much, it's sad and beautiful at the same time. It's sad because, the story is heavy, it's sad, it involves a whole depression and crisis, because yes, I believe that the fact that Jotaro suffered with Kakyoin's death is canonical. it's beautiful because... it was an adventure for both Kakyoin and Jotaro. Kakyoin spent 16 years of his life isolated, without friends or people who understood him, when he met Jotaro that changed. I believe it's the same thing for Jotaro, he made a friend, a partner, a person that he certainly felt comfortable with and open to being himself. thank you so much for this animation, all the feeling and meaning of it were very well understood and felt by me

Regardless of if you ship them or not, Kakyoin was undoubtedly Jotaro’s best friend, maybe even his *first* friend. Romantic feelings or otherwise, losing someone close to you hits hard and leaves scars. Of course, I’m a hopeless shipper so I also ship the heck outta that lmaoooo
