It's So Easy to Expand Your Remote I/O System

When you need to add an I/O module to your machine, do it the easy way with the combination of CPX-AP-A and CPX-AP-I remote I/O systems from Festo. Every CPX-AP-A bus interface comes with an expansion port on it, which can be connected to additional remote I/O modules and valve terminals. In this simple example, a six-module CPX-AP-A terminal is expanded with a CPX-AP-I module, increasing the number of digital inputs in the system by eight. Additionally, the CPX-AP-I module can be mounted anywhere on the machine, up to 50 meters away from the CPX-AP-A terminal in fact.
