Martez Trisha's "husband" is upset that Trish isn't a struggling single mother in his absence. He wanted Trish to suffer without him. I was surprised to find myself agreeing with Martel's advice to Marquez. Usually, I don't see eye to eye with Martel, but this time, his perspective on Marquez's situation was spot on. Marquez, having left his wife and kids, is now upset about the lack of a relationship with them and to boot blames a 10 yr old for his short comings is insane. Something isn't connecting with this guy. Also, Martel's mention of Melody was unnecessary in this situation. The scene stood on its own with Marquez😮.
