Sounds like the Bears are barely talented enough to open the locker room door. Maybe using both of their mediocre quarterbacks at the same time they can push the ol locker room open. A starting qb injury is not a 2 qb controversy. Robertson will likely play the entire game so Finn can completely heal. A high 4-star consensus national top-10 pocket passer at Estacado, Gatorade Texas POTY, that's Robertson. A Mike Leach protégé that finally got out from under the wide zone run offense that injuries forced him to occasionally play the 2 seasons he's seen collegiate action. He's not as expensive as Finn is but he's finally in his type of offense. In mop-up time he threw a td and was 18 of 24 when he started vs Air Force. I don't see a 2qb system or even a controversy. I expect Robertson to excel passing which will allow the good running game to improve. The lowly 3-star freshman running back Washington led his Texas high school team to consecutive state championships and ran for 106 yards (gasp! ONE running back over 100 yards, in a single game...😮) on only 12 carries vs Air Force. Only against lowly AF you may say before remembering the last Buff rb to rush for 100 was back in '22. The Buffs are chock full of blue-chippers and 4&5-star players. They should dominate the Bears, isn't that right, only Vegas is somehow blind to the "fact" that the Buffs are so talented and the Bears are barely "mediocre". I expect an instant classic game with the Bears team beating the blue-chippers maybe by 29-28 with the plain and boring Aranda again going for 2... Good luck to all and may there be no injuries on either side. All of this book has been IMHO. Last of all SIC 'EM BEARS!!!

I think Spencer says a lot of correct things but I disagree with his reasoning abt why CU isn’t a big 12 contender. Ok St LAST YR lost to South Alabama by 26…. The Nebraska loss was awful but that was against a great team and it caused them to look in the mirror and game plan significantly better. This team can win the big 12.
