@@michaelafton7818William didn’t really have a tragic backstory as far as we know. He had designed killing machines before any tragedy struck him. He wanted to be immortal, and he didn’t care who he hurt in the process. He killed Charlie out of jealousy as far as we know, and he designed the Funtimes before the closing of Fredbears but after Fredbears opened. The mimic however, did have a tragic backstory based on the Tales books. I don’t know how it learned “I Always Come Back”, the only explanation is that Afton’s remnant is a part of Mimic 01, whether or not it’s HIM is another question. But the mimic mimicked murder and aggression because of how his creator treated him.

ehhhhhhhh not really afton is more of a person driven to insanity without being treated with his only cope leading to all of this. the mimic is literally a full mimic of afton meaning they are meant to repeat this again and again.

I believe in glitch both but in a different way I think it’s a piece of afton soul or remeant or somthing rather than his agony since agony possessed creatures seem for the most part to be very aggressive and animalistic. Glitch trap on the hand acts very smart sentient plus the I always come back line kinda makes me believe it is him and his agony the evidence that points to agony being sentient is pit bonnie picking up the picture of William and Henry. Personally I think it is Afton maybe not all of him but a piece of him kinda like a Voldemort situation were he can split his soul. Plus if fnaf ar canon it makes sense why golden Freddy appears in hw1 and ar because they are hunting afton. If anything I think the MXES system has afton agony or remeant that attached to it after glitch trap died in hw2

This song is amazing probably one of my favorite fnaf songs I think it summarizes what glitch trap is with Afton soul or peice of it possessed or merged with the mimic one program creating glitch trap and having the mimic take notes while Afton took control of the driver seat until he died in hw2 letting the mimic take back control and becoming more violent then it already was. Great song

I do dislike how some fans assume the Mimic, Burntrap, and Glitchtrap are the same just because of the book lore. Despite the game having separate lore. *For example, while his human body died in the games, he lived in the books* Like how Sister Location revealed the funtime were not new kids, but fragments of the souls of the only kids afton killed. The ones possessing Foxy, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica minus the puppet. Every part contain part of their souls, allowing them to live. *Some screws here, bolts there, etc* Afton learned this and used it between FNAF 3 and FNAF Pizza Sim. Hence why he was so janked in game universe. He took himself apart, leaving them in a safe space, possibly a location where Fazbear Entertainment would look if they decide to reopen again and need parts.. I.e HIS parts. Allowing him to live again. Even the voice line in UCN reflect this. He knew Henry's calling to the fake place was a trap, but still wanted to see how he planned to do things. He's both evil and smart, he would have had a backup plan. While the mimic could have easily been built by the original owner of Fredbear's, whom was only mentioned in the FNAF2 game. Never in the books. Henry wouldn't have the power to make the fake location if he didn't own it in the future, and he couldn't be the original owner in that case.

i am interested in the lore of this song, and yes i really do love the song alot But is this about the Mimic mimicking Afton or Afton returning through the Mimic in some form of Agony or something and is using the Mimic as a vessel? Because the song starts of with the Mimic, then procceeds with Afton and then Glitchtrap appeared. It implies to me that Glitchtrap is formed out of both Afton's spirit and the Mimic1 program in this song or i am just looking too deep into this hahaha either way i love this song and i am listening to it since a few weeks now!
