I cannot wait to see Dek DEKorate his channel with new types of content! But in all seriousness, it's good that you've gone away from Hypixel almost entirely like myself. I feel like Hypixel can limit the growth you can receive on your channel, especially considering that 70% of the playerbase is Skyblock now. Great changes but I still have some small issues with the new skin but that's unimportant :)

you'll get used to the skin ;) but yeah im just excited to do something nonetheless. thanks Lord.

What I’m getting at is you’re going to basically become like Fitz or Smii7y+ in a sense that your streams are gonna be your videos. Which is not a bad idea, that’s what I hope to do this time around.

Glad to see that you're gonna start up with doing KZbin again, and I'm very excited to see what the future of DEK holds. As a content creator myself, I can definitely tell you've put a lot of thought into this, having thought of many of the ideas you've expressed myself. However, among the sea of great ideas you had in this video, there are two that I find unrealistic (from my experience), those being your proposed schedule and your goal for impact. In regards to your proposed schedule, doing videos multiple times per week is not realistic in my experience. Even now, in a time period where I have to make videos as fast as possible to ensure my channel isn't deleted, I'm still only doing videos once per week, because in my experience, I need to have a good amount of time just dedicated to myself, otherwise I just get burnt out and need to take time off from KZbin. Having a less strict schedule will not only give you more time to make your content better, but make yourself feel better about your content as well, I mean, that's one of the core reasons SenzuMike is my favorite channel I've ever had to make videos on. You might feel like you can do it, but, it will only end up poorly in the long run once you end up running out of wood for your fire. Trust me on that. Now moving on to your goal of impact, and why I find it so unrealistic is not so much because of the goal itself, but the way you presented it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you made it sound like you want every video you make to have an impact on someone's life, which is what I find unrealistic, not because I don't think your video's are good enough, but because not every video needs impact to have meaning. Even videos that appear meaningless, where you and your friends are just goofing off and doing something random, can have great impact on people, not just during the video, but after it as well, because with every video your community watches from you they'll get more and more invested into your journey and through that investment, you will naturally make an impact on your community. Additionally, unimpactful videos are important because they give the videos that you wish to be impactful that 'oomph' behind them. If someone on KZbin watches every upload on your channel, which always has a strong message behind them, and for the sake of argument, let's say you're uploading bi-weekly as well, eventually, your bi-weekly viewers will become desensitized to the power behind your messages and disregard them altogether, thus removing the impact that video would have otherwise had. In other words, the contrast between impactful and unimpactful is what makes the impactful impactful (try saying that five times fast). This is ALSO another reason you shouldn't upload two to three times per week, as eventually, your viewers will grow desensitized of your content in general, and decide to stop watching them because they're bored. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Okay so I actually read all of this and I think you bring completely valid and viable points to the table. The main purpose of this video was to make aware of what my goals were for myself, my content, and why I'm doing it. I've been stuck not knowing what to do and I just need to do *something*. This is what that something is at the present time. Regarding my schedule, I think I can do it and I really want to- as these videos take no time at all and content is all I'm doing this year. I don't have a corporate job or school- YT is my life and therefore I'm putting in all the time I need to. I can manage my schedule around YT and not school or work. Plus, I can always pull back, and the 2-3 videos a week is just a goal, not a requirement I'm setting on myself. I have no idea what is going to happen so we shall see. Regarding the impact of my content, I actually think you're completely in the right and it made me rethink about a few things. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in the video but a lot of the gameplay from the streams will be used for making videos too, such as hardcore or SMP videos. I want to throw in a mix of videos and not just the "talking/commentary" videos all the time, despite being the videos that are easy to produce. It'll be a mix of both. Now thinking about it more, I need to do a near 50/50 split to capitalize on everything, so I'll be thinking about this more. Plus- I have a few opportunities coming up which might give some great videos- just gotta figure it out. Thank you Mike🧡.

@@dekeractYT Completely understand why you've decided to just put your foot down with doing content, wish you luck with your schedule, and am glad to have made you think about how you want your content to impact you're viewers. Imagine me saying you're welcome in a way that doesn't come off as arrogant.
