Not just the top speed of a train to consider. Its ability to maintain a higher speed on inclines is important too.

You can click LOAD or UNLOAD at the top of the column in the consist manager to enable/disable all products, rather than clicking each individually. ..........also, you can have 2 tracks between each platform at a train station.

Hey Charlie, did you know that you get paid more if the truck stop is closer to the resource or production plant, have you noticed (8:03 & 9:43) the further you put the truck stop away from the resource the highlight diminishes, which means you get paid less. Also, having the coal and iron drop-offs on different sides of the Truck stop would be better. One last thing, you don't have to increase the truck stop length, add a cargo building, they are far better value than platforms , these store the products off the platforms.

Pay has nothing to do with the truck stops distance from the resource. It’s about the truck stops distances to each other. - but that difference is negligible when you consider the additional time of traveling further as well, especially on the routes where I’m not paid the whole way. Platform extensions not only provide more space for cargo, but also more space for queuing.

I'm really enjoying this video series. Just a tip - you can deselect all items in Load and Unload at the Line Manager > Destinations screen by clicking the column heading. Then just select individually the one or two items you want to load/unload. :)

You can just build 1 platform than 2 tracks and then another platform!!!

To ease your obsession, I just had to untangle a transport network by controlling loads and unloads (I was seeing items passing from one train to an unrelated train with a common station. So, yes, you are using useful preventative measures.

You should add a platform and two tracks, and then another platform for the station it's more effective that way

Half way through your latest video, on the previous video i believe you turned off both load and unload on a station on the tool loop, on the return leg, i think this might be why some things arent being delivered to port, thank you for the videos they are great

Hey loving the videos, i think the goods factory isn’t connected to a road depot that’s why there’s no demand for chemicals so check that out that may be the issue…

The one thing that frustrated me with this game is all trains are unit trains. it would be great if you could drop off cars at stations, pick up other cars and continue on. this way you could drop off stuff at a stop, pick up some new cars and run the new cars to where they have to go then come back to pick up the old cars and repeat.

Given the backlog of things like food at Riverdale, and the $3m in the bank, plus how good the small ships have proved to be. Is it not worth reconsidering building the bigger ports and getting bigger cargo ships?
