She's really green. You can tell by the way she moves. She just doesn't know much at this point. Patience and time. She's lucky she has Tim to teach her.

Love Jewel. Moves slow like me!

It will be interesting to see when it all starts to come together for her. She has a long road ahead. I think when the light comes on she will be a very nice mare.

What I wouldn't do to clean stalls for you. I so miss barns.

She did real good. Always nice when they don't buck and that first ride is basically uneventful. She looks to have a nice walk.

I have great confidence in you and your methods of training to believe that in short time, Jewel will be stronger, more focused and determined to work with you. I think she did well and I know that you see what areas need work. Looking forward to the next video.

Would you please leave your comments on the screen just a few seconds longer? They're very helpful explanations but I often can't quite read them all in time and have to scroll back and replay. Just 5-10 more seconds would be all that's needed. I really like your methods and am enjoying your videos.

I mean this kindly, there is something physically with this horse. You need to have her hind end looked at by a vet. She should not be swaying when standing still and there is something way off with her back legs. Please have her vet checked…
@julzhepburn3688 Жыл бұрын
I thought I saw her drag her hind feet a bit too much ..nearside one more maybe.. but most usual to see someone actually work a pony this early in their lessons , people have no idea how a truly green pony is when first ridden , Often they are very unbalanced and lacking I impulsion.. literally they dont know what the heck they are doing ,BUT This is where they are started! its a long way away from the general idea of a Green pony ..bravo sir 🐎👌♥️

I got halfway through with the benefit of the doubt and realised that the horse almost looks like a horse coming out of sedation not that thats what anyone thinks is happening here but she legitimately is not correct in the hind end and moves incredibly lethargically during front hand turns and transitions. Definitely should be seen by a qualified veterinarian.

Something odd about this horse? Or, is it just me? I can't remember seeing a horse as unaware and unbalanced.

Not uncommon for horses just under saddle. Should get better quickly.
@katg2812 Жыл бұрын
That’s very uncommon. Looks like possible epm. This commenter is correct.

I've done a whole series on EPM, I am well aware. There may be something going on here but making assumptions is not helpful either.

@@timandersonhorsetraining I hope you are right. Just never seen one this outta whack with itself and the world. I am not an expert. Just my opinion.

This horse walks like it’s drunk and its lack of awareness is profound

There is definitely something strange about her movement, especially noticeable in her hind legs. 😳
