I really hate to say it, but I have a bit of a grudge against this game because of the ending but I understand that many people think it's very fitting for it. You know, it's very dark from the beginning. The whole time watching, I'm just thinking "the ending of Shelter, but WORSE", but don't get me wrong, this game is beautiful, but wished it had multiple endings and story perspectives since there are many paths you can take in this game, a little bit of a missed opportunity. The reason why I don't think Shelter's ending is terrible is because the whole point of the game is 'The Circle of Life' and why I don't feel the same about this one, is because it's the common trope 'animal good, humanity bad' that I see everywhere. I can't stop seeing it as a rehash of another game and it's bothering, but that's my only jab I have with this game. Tell me what you guys think of the ending! Edit: Spelling

Here’s my idea if there were to be a good ending The cubs separate from their mother and find something they can use as a bandage for her wounds and she wakes up with all her worried cubs around her, she is joyful as the cubs are fine, she had been taking care of them but not herself, the cubs cuddled by her once again as they rested through the night

Sadly, this is the best ending there is in the game. SPOILERS: The other endings were: Not getting your other cub back but having the badger mom still help your three cubs Or Not helping the badger mom and have your four cubs go off on their own amd probably die Or Not doing either and having your three cubs go off on their own and probably die
