Jackson on his bike is truly amazing! I am a mother to three grown sons and had never heard of a balance bike before and thought it was really odd when you introduced Jackson to it. But obviously you knew what you were doing! I have never known a 2 and a half year old to be able to ride a bike. Plus, he looks like he's been doing it forever! Good job. Love your family!!!

I think I mentioned it before, but, I've been away for three weeks in Malawi (Africa) meeting my sweet husband's family, and I wasn't able to watch KZbin at all out there! It's taken me six days, but I'm finally all caught up on your lovely vlogs :) If it doesn't sound too weird, I really missed you guys, and being able to feel like I'm a part of your family.....however, I became very sick out there (salmonella poisoning, ick) and ended up in the hospital. There were three young Mormon guys in the waiting area, and they were just so happy and cheerful and compassionate, and they reminded me of you guys so much!! It truly brought me comfort seeing them and hearing them chat and laugh together. What you guys do really matters :) So excited to see you move into the new house, ahhhh!!! xxx

I think it's so cool that KZbin came to Utah to talk about audience development! We vlog as well, and we'll be going to our first KZbin convention this November (Vlogger Fair in Seattle! Anybody else going??) and I would argue the most important thing about KZbin is having a relationship and open conversation with your audience. It's what makes online video stand out SO much compared to traditional TV or shows or movies. That relationship is so, so important, and I think it's great to hear KZbin recognize that and set up an event in UT specifically for that. :) Might have to catch the next one!

I think even the first few days are gonna feel weird, but once you start making more and more changes it will feel like *yours*. I just saw this recipe and thought of you Jared. Dr Pepper Brownies!!!!! RECIPE Chocolate Cherry Dr Pepper Brownies INGREDIENTS: 1 can Dr Pepper 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar ⅔ cup cocoa powder ½ tsp salt ½ tsp baking powder ⅓ cup mashed cherries ½ cup bittersweet chocolate chunks Whipped cream, to serve STEPS: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Stir in Dr Pepper until incorporated. Toss in mashed cherries and chocolate chunks. 3. Pour batter into parchment-lined 9x14 pan. Bake for 30 minutes. 4. Cool completely, then cut into squares. Serve topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
