The reason why u got less dmg by using her burst is because of the hamayumi passive, u need 100% for the buff to be functional, so prototype is better on her, and one of the comments suggested giving hamayumi to yoimiya and rust to childe which would in fact work, though make sure that yoimiya isn't running a 4pc shimenowa cuz then the bow passive would be nullified

With prototype you need to shoot at the weak points but with hamayumi you can just shoot the floor and get almost same damage. Also Hamayumi gives extra 12% charge attack bonus. Although protype give more but it takes more time to shoot at the weak point.

@@MH-S-99 as a person who switched from R5 Prototype to R3-R5 Hamayumi (refined as I got billets, after all, starting playing in 1.3 and getting Ganyu in 2.3 was quite a long time to get enough bow billets) and in 3.1 to Amos'bow (bless the standard banner) I can definitely say that it was nice to switch all the times. From prototype to Hamayumi and having more consistent damage, and from Hamayumi to Amos gave me my ults back

@@TomEllisLovesUiirc there’s an order of priority with swirlable elements, and pyro is at the top of the list. so if you were to swirl both cryo and pyro at the same time, venti’s burst would still get infused with pyro. I think cryo is above hydro, which might be why venti’s burst became cryo here, but it should be able to work like op said.

With your 35% Crit rate you're actually getting over 100% with cryo resonance, blizzard strayer and ganyu's passive. You shouldnt need more than 20%

Actually it's 25%, cuz blizzard strayer gives you 40% cr, and cryo resonance another 15%, so if you go with only 20% you'll get 95%, also Ganyu's passive activates in the second charge shot, so if I have her for permafrost I'd run like 35%.

In freeze teams with Venti, Ganyu's burst does a lot more damage than her charged attacks thanks to the quadratic scaling she has. You should prioritize her burst over her normal attacks talent.

It actually depends on which piece it is but overall in my opinion 35-40 cv is a high cv 20-30 is more on the average and 50 cv is god tier rng luck and it's better to have 4 starting substats with high rolls...artifacts with defense, hp and flat atk are not good(depends on the character scaling) er and em is good depends on which character but mostly er on support character or dps that needs more burst up time and em for anemo sup and reaction teams , feather and flower are the ones easy to get but goblet and circlet are definitely difficult to get, but in my case my sands are worst than my goblets and I have somewhat decent circlets .....in short 30-40cv are what you need in flower, feather and goblet, but in sands 20-30cv and circlet 10-20cv are decent enough considering you have good substat

One bonus tip, you shouldn’t use her burst if you’re using that weapon you’re losing out on the bows passive! And her enerhy needs to be 100% in order to maximise ganyus charged attack damage, and if you want to use her burst regardless I would suggest you use prototype crescent on her

Prototype crescent with Severed fate is a good build for Ganyu, especially if you don't use her Charge shot that often. I swap to this build when I'm in a domain or the abyss and can guarantee a headshot to trigger the passive.

Good progress but here's my advice 1. If you're using freeze, leveling up your burst is really important 2. You've too much crit, you get 40 from bs, 20 from ganyu passive, and 15 from resonance. 20 is all you need for 100% crit if they're frozen, 40 if not. When rolling for bs, just focus on crit damage. Even if it doesn't roll crit rate, doesn't matter. All you want is crit damage. That's about it. Good luck
