I cut my hair last year. It was around my boobs and I got it cut into a bob! I know exactly how you feel as it was a week before christmas. Prime picture time!!! But looking back on pictures now I realised it wasn't that bad, it just made me feel more self-conscious, I didn't realise how much I relied on my hair! But I'm positive that when you look back on photos you won't even notice, you will be in awe of your beautiful baby! Love your vlogs xx

nobody else thinks there's anything wrong with your jawline, rhiannon. you're going to feel how you're going to feel, but i promise you, everyone else just sees a pretty face and an enviable haircut. besides, i don't think i've ever been happy with a haircut except for maybe once, and you get used to them after a week. and it grows really fast when it's short, so don't worry about it. you're going to be a busy mummy soon anyway :) happy you're back!

Try straightening the pieces of hair nearest your face Rhiannon! It looks slightly curved since she blow dried it like that but it will appear longer once it's straight. Hope it helps!!

When you have your hair half-up/half-down, you look STUNNING, and I think the reason that I like it so much is that I can really see your face that way. I love your hair shorter, mine is around the same length and it can be daunting at first. I'd recommend straightening out the front sections more so they don't curl under your chin and highlight that area as much. Loving the fact your back vlogging xx

I know that feeling so much about hating your hair and not feeling confident about it at all! I recently started going back to my natural blonde colour after being brunette for over 2 years, because after about 3-4 weeks after each time I would get my hair coloured brunette my regrowth would show and my hair would fade to an awkward red/light brown colour and I would feel SO self conscious! I'm so excited to embrace my natural colour again! You will get used to your hair and it will grow :) Thank you for such great vlogs btw, I really enjoy them! :) :)

I had the same issue last week! My hairdresser cut my hair way shorter than I wanted and added in layers that I definitely did not want! I was so upset and considered just getting it all chopped really short But I realised no one else realises it's just because we're so used to seeing and feeling and styling our hair everyday. Honestly your shorter hair does really suit you and an inch will grow grow super quick anyway! You always look so lovely But I totally get how you're feeling, for days I was walking round saying how ugly I was and my mum was telling me to pull myself together!!! My saviour after a too-short haircut is the lee Stafford treatment for hair that never grows past a certain length. It makes your hair grow so much quicker! Made me feel tons better after getting a disastrous haircut. Of course, your hair still looks fantastic to me xx

SO Glad you're back. Being told "not to stress" when pregnant is the most irritating thing possible. When I was about 8 months a women I worked with told me "don't let yourself get stressed, it affects the baby. Just be you're usual happy calm self" ...she was promptly informed "I don't have a happy calm self so baby will be used to it" 😂 probably should've been nicer but let's just blame pregnancy hormones.

im a new subscriber and this is my first comment on one of your videos .. I work in a hair salon, and I have to say, your hair looks GREAT. she has shaped it around your face beautifully, and it actually doesn't accentuate your jaw AT ALL! I know having your hair cut up around the back of your neck can make you feel super vulnerable (I had mine done), but once you get used to it, its great, and when it grows down you find yourself wanting it chopped up and off your neck again lol but seriously, its a great haircut, and it suits you so much!

actually love that hair on you, its really flattering i have a similar face shape and have had my hair that length a few times and found it really suited me. I think its really cute this sounds weird but i want my hair that length again when i become a mum because years ago i saw this really cute/cool sort of middle class hippyish young mum with her baby in the park and she had her hair like that and they just looked adorable it just always stuck with me that thats what i wanted to look like when i had my first kid sort of easy breasy practical/stylish.

Rhiannon, I don't normally comment but I just wanted to say your hair looks adorable. I know with hair it doesn't really matter how many people say it looks amazing if it doesn't feel right for you, you'll always feel a bit crap about it. I'm the same with my hair. Every time I get my haircut I want to cry at how boyish I look; thinking my ears are sticking out looking horrible (and I don't even get it cut short). After the initial shock has worn out I have to just keep reminding myself that its an insecurity that really only I see...also chanting my mantra of "it'll grow back" religiously usually helps to calm me down xox.

Rhiannon! The exact same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago! My hair dresser cut it so short. I have the same issue with the bone structure of my face but now I love my hair. Give it some time and I guarantee you'll love it by the time your baby arrives because you look absolutely stunning with that hair cut.

oh rhiannon, you look absoloutly sweet before and after the haircut ! and if you leave your hair open, it does cover your jaw line! in my opinion you dont need to be selfconcious about it, but everyone sees himself in another way. I have seen some jaw contouring methodes here on youtube so if it helps you, you could check those out, eventhough i dont think it necessary. And in 3 weeks your hair will been grown back as it grows so fast ! love you xx

You look reaaaaaaally good! Seriously! It lengthens your neck and because the ends surround your chin, it makes your chin look narrow, which then gives you a stronger jawline. Im a hairdresser so we learn about morphology and flattering cuts for different face shapes, so yeah, you look GREAT!!

I know exactly how you feel though - I got my hair cut a similar length about two weeks ago and for the first 2 days I HATED it but now it has settled a bit I absolutely love it and couldn't imagine having it any other way! So don't worry if you don't like it at first - short hair grows so quickly and I'm sure within a week you will love it!

Sending out constructive thoughts - your hair will probably grow at least half an inch in the two (or three!) weeks before baby arrives. From the looks of it you have quite fast growing hair!

When I first got my hair cut into a bob, I left the hair dressers and sobbed in my car! But hair grows so quickly. Within days I had adjusted, the hair grows a little making it less sharp looking! Give it a week and hopefully you will feel happier. Hair is weirdly an important part of a female identity, so don't feel silly for having strong emotions over it Xx

Rhiannon, I think your hair still looks lovely! Especially when you put the upper part up. I had the same as you about a year ago, where I was a bit too enthusiastic with my directions for the hairdresser haha. I didn't feel pretty, even though other people told me it looked nice. However, try to make the best out of it! You look amazing. And they say that two weeks after getting your hair cut, it's supposed to look perfect. I genuinely really love your hair. And see no issue with your face shape however I completely know we all have parts of us we aren't comfortable with. And likely being pregnant doesn't help because your emotions are all over. I had my hair cut recently and hated it and then when I got home and restyled it, I felt much happier about it. hope youre feeling better about your hair! its amazing how fast hair grows 3 weeks doesnt seem like a long time but healthy thick hair normally grows pretty quick, my client has very similar hair to you and she comes every month and i always cut at least an inch off! but i think it really suits you! :)

I think it looks great ! But if you really just want an inch more, add warmed coconut oil to your scalp and massage it in for 10 minutes and then leave it in a shower cap for 30 minutes. I was recommended this when my hairdresser cut 3 inches more off my hair than I wanted. My hair grew around an inch and a half in 3 weeks. Best of luck xx

I did the same thing as you and got a little too excited to have a haircut and now my hairs much shorter than I had in mind but you'll get used to it, trust me. Once you've washed it and styled it yourself you become a little more used to it in my opinion. Personally also having it half up half down makes me feel a little better about the length of mine. But to be honest, I quite like your hair that length and it'll be much easier to wash and dry.

I cut my hair 14 inches (which was a plait so it was actually like 17 inches) shorter last year into a long bob just because I wanted a change, I made the decision 10 days before I did it. It took me a long time to get used it it and start liking having short hair. I donated my hair to charity to make wigs for children who've lost their hair due to cancer so that helped me like my short hair because I had helped someone else but yeah I understand what you're going through.

Yeahh another video!! I got hooked on Vlune and was just sat there the other night trying to find something new to watch! As for the hair, I completely understand what you mean, I went for a bob once and no joke, she cut it to like 4inches ALL OVER! I looked like a bob and walked out and cried at a bus stop. It was a few days before I was having photos taken too, I was miserable. I know you don't see it but it does suit you, especially with it half up, or maybe try clipping your fringy bits back (not all the way up) I bet that would look nice without having it all up.

I cut all my hair off last year. It was about rib length and it'd taken me the best part of all my teen years to grow!! Trouble is, I asked the hairdresser to cut the front a little shorter than the rest and gestured with my hands to show him the length. He didn't hear me properly over the hairdryer next to us and cut it all that length!! I did the British thing of pretending to love it but secretly hated it for the best part of a month until it had grown a bit and gained some shape back! Pro tip: don't give crucial and misinterpretable information while a hairdryer is going! 😂

I can relate so much to your jaw situation because I have the exact same problem with my nose. I think it's really ugly and even if people are like "Oh no it's not bad at all" I keep thinking it's the worst part of my entire body. But what I definitely learnt over the last few years is that other people don't see certain parts of our bodies in the same way that we do because they just see our whole appaerance if that makes any sense. So for others your jaw and my nose are just parts that belong to us and if they say "Your jaw/nose looks just normal to me" most of the time they really mean it. So in my opinion there's really nothing on your face or body that needs covering up and even though I like your hair better when it's a little bit longer I still think you look absolutely gorgeous! Just don't worry about it too much, because we don't see you the way you do :) And sorry for any grammar mistakes or anything btw, I'm actually Austrian 🙈

Rhi, honestly your hair looks adorable this length. I am a hairdresser and I think this cut complements your facial structure. It is definitely short than it was last time but you will get used to it and adjust to it within two weeks. I'm sure it will be lovely by the time your daughter is born. Do not stress yourself out about it! I do know where you are coming from though, I have thick curly frizzy hair as well and when it is cut shorter than I like it to be, I kind of freak out and have a good cry about it. But the next time I shower and wash it, and style it myself, I actually love it. don't worry about your hair! the same thing happened to me not long ago and I said I looked like a mushroom head too, and it will grow out before you know it! you also might be able to change it and like it if the way you styled it when it was longer doesnt work as well at this length and you'll prefer it a different way :) I think it looks great on you, especially half up which is how I always had my hair while it grew out of my mushroom cut, so if you're still not loving it then I hope this reassured you! x

Try a mobile hairdresser, far less pricey, you build good relations with them, they understand your style / cut / colour too. Have never looked back. You can just ask on local facebook pages & they'll all list reputable ones :) Always best to go by word of mouth. I gave up on hairdressers in 2011 after encountering a group of very rude, bitchy women. I also can't afford (in my area) £120+ for a cut / colour / blow dry !!! I now pay £50 (& I tip), only £14 for a trim. If you say under an inch trip that's all you need to just trim edges too. Even less actually. xx

The two times I've been to an actual salon (I was desperate) my hair has been cut from elbow length to just below my chin, despite asking for a trim!!!! I got my hair cut about a month or so ago, and I have a very round face. The hairdresser cut it a lot shorter than I wanted it and dyed it a lot darker than I wanted it.I think it will look a lot nicer when your hair is wavy. My hair flips out on the bottom away from my face and it looks ridiculous and I have very straight and thick hair. I think the cut looks nice. It'll grow back, but for the time being I think it looks very ladylike. You'll be surprised how much it grows in a month! Love your videos by the way (:

My mum owns a hairdressers and she considers what someone has told her about their life. E.G about to have a baby, going away for a little while. Your hairdresser probably took into account that you wouldnt have much time after baby is born and so thought cutting it a little shorter was a good idea? I dont know but personally i like it. I got my hair cut that short in December, and I absolutely hated it. My hair texture and thickness is very similar to yours, and looked basically the exact same as your new cut. I thought my face looked too fat! But as the days went on, I got used to it and learned to like it. I don't think I'll over go that short again, but I no longer hate it. Just give it time!

hey Rhiannon i think it might be a blessing that she cut it a bit shorter because by the time you give birth it should grow also when in the shower try massaging your scalp to stimulate hair growth and taking hot showers to stimulate the scalp and ending with a splash of cold to lock in all the oils and also castor oil can help but it is thick so mixing it with another oil would make for a nice treament.. hpe this help but i do think you look lovely either way xx

i actully love your hair like this nice change. think when your a mum with a newborn you wont have time to get your hair done at first so at least now it will last longer cause it shorter but its actully lovely and your face is beutiful

I got my hair cut like that on September last year, but layered. The lady straightened it, and I totally felt like a mushroom/coconut head, but once I washed it and it became wavy I liked it so much more, just like what happened to you! You look beautiful, btw xx

Don't stress yourself over your hair lovely! People are right, you do look pretty with your hair half up & half down, but you look pretty with it anyway! Hair is just hair, it grows back :-) When I had my first baby it was an emergency c-section. My son was born prematurely at 26 weeks & was only 1lb 9oz when he was born. I didn't get to hold him for a whole week but I still didn't care what I looked like! Because I got to hold my beautiful baby, and there is nothing more beautiful than capturing that moment in a photograph, no matter what you look like. Becoming a mother is the most incredible thing in the world & you won't care what you look like as soon as you see your baby looking back at you ❤️

Yay! I was so happy to see a video from you Rhiannon :D Also just after my Dad died in October I got my hair cut way shorter than I normally have it... (I usually have it around mid back to shoulder length) and it was similar to yours... I didn't need another excuse to cry! But I already felt vulnerable and that just topped it off. I completely get where you're coming from. Although you don't like your face though, I just wanted to say that the cut does not look terrible on you! Just shorter :) So please don't worry

Your hair looks lovely, honestly! The exact same thing happened to me about three weeks ago, I got home and cried! But honestly, hair grows so quickly, it'll be back to how it was before so soon! Plus, you've got a gorgeous face and face shape and the length really flatters it! Xxx

Maybe you could mess with the parting and that would help you like your hair more? I think it looks quite nice, but I understand how big of a change a few inches can make when it's your own hair.
